Riffi Tear-Drop Make-Up Sponge

Hi girls. A little while ago I was kind enough to be sent some Riffi Prouduts from Denman and one of them included the 'Riffi Tear-Drop Shape Latex Make-Up Sponge' which has become a much used item when applying my foundation in the mornings. Normally I am one to stay away from makeup sponges just beacuse I find them to carry too much bacteria and be a majoir cause of outbreaks (this is probably beacuse I never washed them out properly), so I was a little bit  on the unsure side when I was sent this. But I have to say ladies I am so pleased that I gave it ago, as I've found that it really does help to give you that flawless makeup finished look!

First of all let me tell you what you what Riffi have to say about their make-up sponge:

I can't tell you how pleased I was to find that there was a makeup applicator which has been made in mind for those with sensitive skin. Sometimes I find the bristles on foundation brushes to be a little harsh, or there are the makeup sponges which feel rough to the touch and crumble away only after a few uses. However the Riffi tear-drop make-up sponge feels so soft to the touch and has a spring like feel to it (like those memory foam mattresses, where they spring back into place once you've used it). 

I love how the sponges tear-drop shape fits perfectly into your hand, making it really easy for application and whilst Riffi have made the sponge to be absorbent, its not so absorbent that it will soak up all your foundation and let any go to waste. What impressed me most with the make-up sponge was that it made applying foundation really quick and easy, so if your on the go this is the perfect way to apply your foundation and getting it looking perfect at the same time; I also found that it was great to use for touch ups during the day.

The make-up sponge retails for £3.36, which some of you may find a little steep for just a makeup sponge, but what you are getting is quality and I think the Riffi make-up sponge is equally if not better than the Mac Wedge Sponges. So far I've cleaned and re-used my Riffi make-up sponge a few times and apart from the colour not looking too brilliant, its still in good condition and I haven't noticed any change in my skin where outbreaks are concerned.

Perfect Flawless Tan | The Riffi Exfoliating Massage Mitt

Hi beauties, so you and I both know that we've not had the best summer here in the UK and with no sun, unfortunately means no natural looking tan. I don't know about you but I am a fake tan girl (all year round) and even though I am faking it all the way, I want my tan to look perfect and flawless and they key to this ladies is definitely good preperation. You can have the best fake tan on the market, but if you don't prepare your skin before fake tan application all sorts of disasters can happen.

I've always learnt from experience to exfoliate my  skin before tanning, but never before had I used a mitt to exfoliate. Now that the mitts are on (literally) I havn't looked back, they really are a must have item for anyone who loves fake tan as much as I do.

The Riffi Exfoliating Mitts are not too harsh on the skin, or leave a horrible scratching feeling while using them.  Before using the Riffi mitts, I would just use a sugar scrub or exfoliating shower gel ,dolloped on one of those shower poufs. However that is now a thing of the past; The Riffi Exfoliating Mitts are so easy to use, and they are so precise at getting to each area on your body.

If you are wanting to get your tan on, or if you have tan on already and are re-applying the mitt is fabulous at getting the skin ready. If you do have tan on already you can really see the Riffi Mitts working as the gloves and soap will turn a slightly orange colour (gross but at least you know its working, right?) However if your not a fake tanner, the Riffi Exfoliating Mitts are super for exfoliation in general. Riffi explain that

'Exfoliation is vital. Your body naturally sheds skin cells every day, but there's no harm in speeding up their dispersal. Dead skin cells just hanging around makes your skin look dull and no matter how much lotion you use, you're never going to have glowing skin if you don't exfoliate' 

So whether your tanning or just exfoliating I would definitely recommend using the Riffi Exfoliating Mitt. Denman D3 Purple Zebra Brush | Review

Hello beauties. I'm sure you will all agree that everyone needs a good hairbrush in their life and throughout many points in the day we need to get rid of knots to make our hair look perfectly polished, especially those of you who are like me and have long hair!

Recently a lovely lady at Denman asked me if I would be interested in trying out the Denman D3 Purple Zebra Brush. She must have known that my normal everyday brush was on the way out and couldn’t have asked me at a better time. I've heard so many great things about the classic D3 brush in the beauty world; I was extremely excited to try it out for myself. 

My first impressions looking at the Denman D3 has to be the gorgeous purple zebra design. I adore anything animal print and this design is fun, bright and really stands out on your beauty vanity.  As for a hairbrush goes, the Denman D3 Brush works wonders and does the job perfectly. It glides though my hair (knots and all) like a dream and is really kind to your locks. I don't feel that my hair is breaking in anyway which is a problem I've found with other hairbrushes. One thing that I noticed right away when I stared using the Denman D3, was that there was hardly any hair matted in the brush once I finished using it. It feels lovely using a brush that doesn't pull your hair out!
