Where is this year going? It feels like I say this all the time, but seriously time is just whizzing by and I'm sat here half way through the year typing up another monthly favourites post. Last month I've discovered some great new beauty must haves which have become firm staples in my everyday beauty routine, so I can't wait to share these with you.
First on the list has to be my new favourite shampoo and conditioner. I've been loving the Argan Oil of Morocco ones from the brand OGX and they've really helped to improve the overall quality of my hair. Since giving birth to Archie, my hairs felt really dry, damaged and just gross. I decided that my hair needed something that was really intensive and it's only just now that my hair is starting to feel normal again, which is great. I can only put it down to this shampoo and conditioner; Not only do they work great, but there also really lovely to use too. I've fully reviewed this in this post here.
Another shower product that I've been loving last month was also the Aussie Shower Soothie Body Wash. Oh my God all I have to say is AMAZING. I know these have been released for a little while now and I'm probably way late on jumping on this band wagon, but this shower gel is just seriously so good. There are a few different scents to choose from, but I went for the one that contains that Macadamia Nut Oil, which smells exactly like their Miracle Moist range which is my favourite scent from Aussie. This stuff is lovely to use and I can actually smell it on my skin after the shower. You know you've found a good shower gel when you keep smelling yourself afterwards.
Onto skin care, these Sensitive Micellar Cleansing Wipes from B Pure have actually been a Godsend. I think their Superdrug's own range of wipes and they have been my go too to take the most of my makeup off. I know makeup wipes are not really skin friendly, but sometimes they're just too convenient. Being a new mum means when evening comes around the last thing I can be bothered to do is a full cleanse and these wipes are just quick easy and do the job perfectly. Because they're Micellar wipes they're gentle on my skin and theres no dragging or pulling which is great.
Sticking with skincare, I have to say I am completely obsessed with my Elizabeth Arden Eight Our Cream. This is hands down the best face moisturiser I have ever used. I've actually been using this for some time, but I had run out and only made a repurchase last month. This moisturiser is so intensive, yet doesn't leave my skin feeling oily or greasy. I can honestly see such a change in my skin whenever I use this; It looks brighter, hydrated and radiant. If you've not tried this, then you need too. I'll be posting a full review of this very soon, so keep your eyes pealed for that.
The only makeup item in this months favourite post is this lip liner from Primark. I had no idea until recently that Primark had lip liners in their makeup range. Without sounding snobby, I would usually avoid Primark makeup as I just never thought it looked that great. However I saw this lip liner on one of those bowls when your at the till and I thought I would give it ago. With it only costing a pound I really had nothing to loose. I picked up this nudey pink shade and I have to say I'm so impressed. This is such a great lip liner, its long lasting, feels great and works perfectly with all my favourite nude lipsticks. If your not convinced, take a look at my full review where you can see what it looks like on.
Have you tired any of these products? What have you been loving recently?
