Primark Bronze Range | Cream Eyeshadow, Highlighter & More

Now that spring is full swing and summer is just around the corner (I cannot wait!) it's time to start switching things around in my makeup bag. I am loving more natural looks, with plenty of highlight and I can't get enough of the golden glow. Which is why I was pretty excited to see a new makeup range on my most recent trip to Primark. Recently I've become a big fan of Primark beauty and I loved their Nudes collection, a few weeks ago you may have seen my review on some of their cream eyeshadows (here). As soon as I saw their new Bronze collection I knew that I had to take a few bits home with me. There's quite a few bits in the range to choose from and I could have easily picked one up of everything! I don't think I did too bad with the four bits I picked up, I've only had them for a few days, but already I'm loving everything...

Dewy Glow Bronzing Cream;

This is the first makeup item that I picked up in the Bronze range was the first that caught my attention; It's the Dewy Glow Bronzing cream which is the most gorgeous gold shimmery cream I've ever seem. This compact is pretty big and inside is a really large mirror which is a really nice touch, it seems Primark can do no wrong when it comes to packaging right now. This gold cream gives the body the most beautiful glittery glow when rubbed into the body. The first time I put this on it was still really early in the morning and the sun wasn't out, I couldn't really see any shimmer so applied it quite generously. Well, when I stepped outside in the sunlight I could have passed as Edward Cullen, no exaggeration I promise. Although you can never have too much shimmer right? Going forward, I think less is definitely more with this product. One thing that is really lovely is that the glitter is so finely milled, you can't feel it on and it doesn't transfer onto everything you touch. This product did feel quite oily when to the touch and for a few seconds after application, but it dries really quickly and I'm left with a really nice glow. The packaging says that this can be used on the body or face, but I personally feel that it's a bit too much for a face highlighter. I've been wearing this around my neck line, on my shoulders and down the centre of my legs for that ultimate summer glow.

Bronze Metallic Cream Eyeshadows;

The last two cream eyeshadows that I tried from Primark were amazing and I've used them so much since my purchase just a little over a month ago. So there was no doubt in my mind, I had to pick up the two cream shadows that were available in the Bronze range. I can tell you now they are gorgeous and my two new favourites for eyeshadows. The lightest one 'Sunbeam' is a beautiful pale pearlescent shade that has a slight champagne shimmer to it. I love using this all over my lid and then using my bronzer in my crease for the perfect everyday look. The second cream shadow is 'Sundown' which is deep coppery bronze shade with golden reflects and it looks stunning, I can't believe its only £2.00! What I love most about these shadows is how smooth and creamy they are, they blend out like a dream and are last all day... I promise you they don't budge one bit, even in this scorching weather we've been having.

Bronze Highlight;

I don't think I've ever tried a loose powdered highlight before for the reason that loose pigments get everywhere and I don't have the time to clean up all the fallout every time I want to use it. However this little beauty from Primark was only £2.00 and I thought I've got nothing to loose by picking one up. The packaging of this highlight sold it right away and I'm amazed just how well Primark have done with this one. The highlight comes in a glass pot which is slightly larger than the cream eyeshadows. I love the gold tribal detailing that is decorated around the glass and the white lid finishes this product off lovely. There are two of these loose highlighters in the Bronze range and I picked up the one 'Vacation' which is a really pretty peachy pink shade which is packed with all the shimmer that you need. This product does make a little bit of mess or a lot if your toddler gets hold of it! But it is really simple to use and looks stunning on. I've been using this on my cheekbones everyday since I picked it up and I can't help but admire my glow every time that I look in the mirror. Although this is packed with shimmer, it's really smooth, doesn't feel grainy and it blends out beautifully. I've also been using this in the inner corners of my eyes and under my brow bone which really helps my eyes to pop.

All in all, I love everything that I picked up and the best thing is all of this cost me less than £10.00 Please don't leave these little gems behind on your next trip to Primark! I'm already thinking about picking up a few more bits from this range, especially the liquid highlighter drops.

What do you think? Yes to Primark beauty?
