Hello lovelies! Over the last few weeks I have been using the nspa Illuminating Beauty Serum and have absolutely been loving it. I don't know about you, but I'm such a sucker for any product that claims to give you a bit of a glow and adds some radiance to your face, so I was really excited to try this product out.
The nspa Illuminating Beauty Serum is supposed to be used as part of a four step routine bought to you by the UK's No1 Day Spa Nirvana Spa. I have to say I do like it when a Spa brings out products for you to use at home as its the perfect excuse to pamper yourself!. So Nirvana Spa have come out with these little nspa products and the Illuminating Beauty Serum claims to add an instant natural glow and give you luminous skin.
It serum comes in a little 50 ml bottle and is a pearlescent colour which contains small gold flecks of shimmer which create this lovely glow we are all looking for. It was my mum who introduced me to this product, she dabbed a little on my under eye circles whilst I had a full application of makeup on. I was a little worried at first because I thought that a serum on my face would only lead to a sticky horrible mess, OMGosh how wrong I was beauties! The serum immediately made my eyes seam much more brighter and vibrant and I knew that I wanted to have my own little bottle of Illuminating Beauty Serum.
The serum can be used under or over makeup, whichever you prefer. When you first apply it, it can feel very thick and wet feeling but as soon as its rubbed in, it absorbs quickly into the skin giving you a lovely glow. I've been using this everyday before applying my foundation and occasionally adding it under my eyes throughout the day for a little pick me up. I do suffer with combination skin and was worried that the nspa product would make my skin feel greasy or make it look more oily as the day went on, but to my surprise I didn't experience any of this.
I've really enjoyed using this product and it will be one which I shall repurchase agin. I wouldn't go as far as to say its life changing, but when you apply it you definitely see noticeable changes. Although I can clearly see that there is an added glow to my face when I use this product, I don't know if its entirely the product making those changes or if its because I'm wanting to believe the changes because I know I've used the serum (I hope that makes sense lol).
Other than giving you a natural glow, the nspa Illuminating Beauty Serum also has a few other good points: The company are completely against animal testing and all there products are paraben free! The other great thing is the price. I not 100% sure on the price for the serum, but believe it was around the £5 mark and can be purchased from most Asda's or you can take a look at the nspa website here to find out more details about the beauty serum and all the other nspa products.
