Barry M Gelly Hi-Shine Nail Paint in Greenberry | NOTD

I'm sure many of you beauty babes are aware of the hype and all the fuss the Barry M Gelly Hi-Shine Nail Paints are getting right now and seeing as they have just recently added some more  pretty pastel colours to their collection, they really are the talk of the nail polish town. Being the nail polish lover that I am, I have been wanting to get my beauty mitts on the Gelly Hi-Shine polishes for some time, but seeing as I received so many nail polishes for Christmas and my polish collection is already pretty hefty, I decided that I had to pop a little nail polish ban on myself (wahh). But this week I completely caved as I just fell head over heels in love with one of the new shades that have been released which is the most gorgeous under the sea green/turquoise colour called 'Greenberry'. My pictures really don't do this polish justice as it's a little more on the greener side than what is showing up on camera - Think your Tiffany Box blue kind of colour. I have been searching for a colour just like this one, so as soon as I saw it making it's way around the blogosphere it made its way to the top of my wishlist. When I saw it standing there on the shelves of Superdrug it was practically calling my name and I just couldn't resist.

As you can guess from the name of these Barry M Gelly Hi-Shine polishes, the finish after application is super shiny glossy nails that practically gleam in the sunlight - which is perfect if your not a topcoat kinda girl. I've always preferred a shine finish to a matte one, so having nails that shine this much after two coats pops me right up there in nail polish heaven! What I'm really loving about this polish though, has to be the colour payout. I always think pastel colours are a must for spring/summer but so often I find that pastel polishes can be a little on the dull side in terms of brightness of colour, but 'Greenberry' is one of the brightest pastel polishes I have ever seen - its so eye-catching and will really make your nails stand out. The colour you see in the bottle is definitely the colour that will show on your nails, but you will need 2-3 coats to get this colour pay out.

I know that 'Greenberry' is going to be one of those go too shades, especially when the weather gets a bit warmer and you know that this type of colour is just going to look amazing with a golden tan! It's one of those polishes that make you smile every time you look down at your nails and I love it! You can pick 'Greenberry' up for £3.99, but Superdrug have an offer on right now where you can pick up any two of the Gelly Hi-Shine polishes for £6.00, you can find the link here. I also picked up the shade 'Blueberry' while I was there, which I plan to feature in another NOTD post.

Have you tried 'Greenberry' yet? Or are you loving any other of the shades from the Gelly Hi-Shine Collection? I would love to know!
