Happy Bank Holiday weekend everyone! I hope your all well and enjoying your time off work. Firstly I want to apologise for the lack of posts, it's just been a couple of hectic weeks and unfortunately life has gotten in the way a bit. But I'm back and have a fun filled schedule of posts for you all, so make sure to keep checking back for those. I was having one of those feeling organised moments the other day and decided to sort through my stash of beauty products. As I was going through my haircare bits I realised there were so many gems in there that I've simply not gotten around to blog about, so I thought I would feature a few collectively in one post for you all and if any of you want in-depth reviews let me know and I'll add it on my list of things to blog about.

As some of you may know, when it comes to my hair I'm never happy. Yes, I love the length and it grows really quickly, but my locks are very thin and fine and trying to achieve volume causes me so much trouble in the morning. Having this problem means that I've gone through my fair share of hair products that help  give me voluminous thicker looking hair. Today I'm sharing with you the best of the bunch as I know that I'm not the only one with this hair problem.

Envy Professional Big Hair Root Volumiser

I cannot tell you just how much I love this product. The Envy Professional Big Hair Root Volumiser or as I like to call it 'my magic spray' is the perfect product that really gives your hair all the volume you could possibly need. You dispense the product as a spray and coat it though through you hair just before you zap it with the hairdryer. Firstly this spay smells incredible. I can't really pin point the exact scent, but as soon as I spray this it instantly reminds me of a salon. The scent lingers in my hair all day and it makes me feel as though I've had my hair professionally done each and every time. This non sticky spray really uplifts my roots and makes styling my hair all that more easier. As my hair is long its always feeling weighed down, but the Big Hair Root spay just gives my roots a little bit of bounce. What's really great is that this added volume lasts and doesn't disappear after a few hours, which so many volumising products seem to do. This spray is a volume must have.

Charles Worthington Volume & Bounce Body Booster Mousse

Mousse is something that I've only just started incorporating into my hair routine. For some reason for a long while hair mousse just reminded me watching my nan getting ready and styling her hair when I was younger. With this in the back of my mind I was always a little put off. All I can say is what was I thinking? Mousse has been a little hair life saviour over the last couple of months as I love the way it gives my hair that bounce, texture and volume. I've been particularly enjoying the Charles Worthington Volume & Bounce Body Booster Mousse (great name) its by far the best one I've tried. This mousse is really lightweight, smells amazing and instantly makes my hair feels a little thicker. What I really love about this mousse is the difference that it makes to my second and third day hair. My go to hair style on these days are always messy pony tails and up-dos and without any product my hair can still look very thin on top. This mousse seems to create the illusion that my hair is a lot thicker than what it actually is and for that reason its one of my favourites. Also how pretty is the packaging?

Schwarzkopf Got2b Volume & Shine Souffle

I've always been a fan of the Schwarzkopf Got2b range, their yellow hairspray is still my favourite hairspray ever and is a hair product that I can't be without. Deciding to try a few more products in the Got2b range I picked up the Volume & Shine Soufflé which is supposed to add textured volume, add shine and be a weightless finish. Well, it's made its way into this post as this soufflé does all three and is a great way to add instant volume and texture into your hair. This product is a little bit different to anything that I've ever tried before, it has whipped like texture to it and it has a slight strawberry smell to it which smells amazing. This non sticky and weightless mousse can be applied into dry hair and really uplifts your hair straight from the roots. This is a product that I often use on my second day hair, again it just gives whatever hair style I'm rocking that day a little more life and lift to it. It's also a great product to use if you like braiding your hair as it gives your hair a little more grip as well as texture. Not only is this a great hair volumiser, it's a great styling product too.

Charles Worthington Volume & Bounce Texturising Spray

I think this texturising spray from Charles Worthington possibly has to be one of the most hyped up hair products of last year and rightly so; this spray certainly doesn't disappoint. I think when creating volume its also really important to add texture. The two really go hand in hand and this is the spray that instantly gives you both. Whenever I've styled my hair, whether its down or up, this is the spray I reach for! I think you really notice thin hair right at the roots and because of this I've always gotten into the bad habit of backcombing my hair. This spray really is backcombing in a bottle, its that good. During styling or after, wherever I see that my hair needs that little extra boost of volume and texture, I just spray this and like magic my hair does exactly what I want it to do. I've gone through a few cans of this spray, but I am loving this special Bafta Edition one I picked up recently - So pretty.

Backcombing Brush

I've shared my favourite products for volume and texture but no hairstyle would be complete without a trusty backcombing brush. A volume boost essential thats for sure. I know backcombing is not the most friendly thing to do to your hair, but there is a reason why we backcomb our hair and thats because it works! If you are going to backcomb I think it's really important to use the right brush. I picked this little pink one up ages ago from Primark (cheap and cheerful) and it does the job perfectly.

So there we have it, my top products for adding a little more volume and texture to your hair. I would love to know what your favourite products are for adding volume are? Let me know in the comments below.

Lots of Love
