Makeup Revolution Ultra Sculpt & Blend Collection* £14.99

Last weekend I got home and my heart almost skipped a beat when I opened up a surprise package from Makeup Revolution. Their releases recently have been on point, so you can only imagine my excitement to see what it was. The products that have grabbing everyone's attention have to be the release of Makeup Revolutions Ultra Metals Collection, which have to be a dupe for the pricey Bold Metals collection from Real Techniques released earlier this year. Not being one to pay out a lot for my makeup brushes, I left these brushes hanging in the shops. But as we know Makeup Revolution are super affordable, so theres a lot to be excited about!

In my surprise package I was lucky enough to receive the new Ultra Sculpt & Blend Kit which turned me into the emoji with the love hearts for eyes. The first thing that made me instantly fall in love with these brushes have to be their shiny rose gold handles; They're just beautiful! I'm such a sucker for rose gold and these really stand out amongst my brush collection making them easy to reach.

The kit includes three brushes and one blending brush, all which have been designed and cut to contour and sculpt to apply your makeup beautifully. The kit costs £14.99 and I have to say for purse friendly brushes, they feel great. Each brush is made from synthetic hair and works superb with powder and cream products. The sponge is incredibly soft and doesn't absorb too much of your makeup, making it great for blending.

The largest brush in the kit is the power, sculpt and blend brush. When it comes to makeup brushes I'm one of those who rebel a bit and use a little bit differently to what it says in the description (wild I know). I've been using this brush to buff in and blend out my foundation and I promise you it's amazing and my foundation has been looking pretty even with a lovely soft finish.

The middle sized brush is the cheek and highlight sculpt and blend brush. It's very rare a day passes by where I'm not adding a little bit of highlight to my cheekbones and this brush is the perfect tool. I just find that the size of the brush is perfect as its very precise and the cut angle of the brush really makes it easy for me to blend that highlight in.

The last brush and the smallest in the kit is the eyeshadow blending brush and I just love how fluffy and big this eyeshadow brush is. Its perfect if you love to really distribute the eyeshadow in your crease to make a really soft smokey eye. I think out of all the brushes in this kit, its possibly my favourite and I would love to own just a couple of these in my brush collection. It's really comparable to some of the high end makeup brushes that I own.

The last thing in the kit which is not a brush is the blending sponge. When it comes to base makeup I really like the finish a blending sponge gives me. I always dampen them and use it to blend in my concealer for a really flawless and airbrushed look. This sponge is one of the softest that I own and it works amazingly at getting into those awkward shaped places on your face like your nose.

Overall this kit is perfect and I'm getting good use out of everything. If you love contouring, blending or really want to get into achieving flawless looking skin I would really recommend picking this kit up, I promise you it won't disappoint. You can pick it up from the Makeup Revolution website here, I think it's amazing value for money.

What are your thoughts on this Sculpt and Blend Kit from Makeup Revolution? Are you a fan?

Lots of Love
