Since I've been blogging I've reviewed so many hair products and done my hair share of haircare posts. When it comes to haircare, I'm always swapping and changing products. When I think about it, buying hair products comes second in line to buying makeup, I love it. Although I'm forever making changes when it comes to my haircare routine (who would like to see an updated post on this?) Theres one thing that has not changed over the years and that's my hairbrush. When I first started blogging, which was around five years ago now, the first pr sample I was ever sent out was my Denman D3 Zebra printed brush and I've used it everyday on my hair since; It's the only brush I reach for and although its looking a little tatty right now it still works perfectly fine and gets rid of all those knots and minimises the breakage of my hairs. I guess you could say that this hair brush has become a bit of a holy grail product and a firm favourite in my life. It might actually surprise you by saying I've not gone with the majority of bloggers who tend to use Tangle Teasers, I've never tried one ever! My Denman D3 brush works for me just fine. If you want to see this ancient blog post you can take a read here, please be kind and don't judge my photography, I think I've made a massive improvement over the years lol.
Anyway getting back to the point of this post, I actually have a new Denman brush that has worked its way into my life and as I love my old one so much, I just had to share this one with you for any of you Denman fans out there. Denman's latest launch is of their new scented cocktail brushes, yes you heard right, a brush that smells like a yummy cocktail, how amazing is that? There's three scents to choose from; there's Berry Martini, Pina Colada and the one I have which is Strawberry Daiquiri. I don't know what the other two smell like, but my one actually smells like sweet strawberries and its just lovely. Now don't get me wrong, a scented hairbrush won't change the way you brush you hair, its just a really nice novelty and one that I love. I mean who doesn't want a cocktail scented hairbrush!
What I really love about this brush is that its designed to be smaller than usual hairbrushes, especially my D3 brush which is a little too big for my handbag. The cocktail brushes are the perfect size for any handbag, which makes them great for on the go. We've all been there on those windy days, where you get to your destination and your hair literally looks like you've just gotten out of bed. It's great having a brush that I can carry around with me easily and one thats just as good as my Denman D3.
I'm really happy to have this hairbrush in my bag, and the scent is just a huge bonus. I can actually smell this in my bag as soon as I open it. The only downside to having a cocktail scented brush is that it makes me want to have a sip of the real thing lol. You can pick up your own Denman Cocktail brush for a cheap and cheerful £8.00 over on their website here.
Which cocktail flavour would you pick? Let me know
Oooo I love this post. The hair brush is perfect handbag size and I'm someone who has always stuck to the trusted tangle teezer so maybe I will have to give this a whirl. I love the names of the brushes to x
