New In My Makeup Bag | Holy Grail Makeup

Forgive me, its been ages since I talked about makeup on my blog and as my blog is mainly about beauty I thought it was about time I featured some of the makeup that has made its way into my makeup bag recently. Over the past couple of weeks I've discovered some makeup gems and I know you guys are going to love these beauty bits just as much as me

Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray

Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray; If you saw my last post, you will have seen me raving about this setting spray from Urban Decay. This little spray has become my new favourite holy grail product and it's a real game changer in terms of making my makeup last all day. I suffer with the worst oily skin ever,  nothing stays on and it just slips and slides everywhere, which is not a great look. However I've been setting my makeup everyday with this spray and I promise you nothing budges, even in this sticky humid heat we've been having. I've only been applying my makeup once in the morning and don't have to touch it up which is just amazing. If you want to read my full review on this take a look at my post here. I would 100% think about picking this up if you want to make your makeup last all day.

Primark Primer Water; For the longest time, I've always wanted to try a Primer Water, but if truth be told I never really knew what they were used for or why I needed one. For a good few weeks I saw so many beauty bloggers raving about the Primark Primer water and as it only cost £2.00 I thought it would be rude not to pick one up. I did a little research before using this to find out how I was meant to use it. Basically its pretty simple, but you spray this over your face before applying your makeup and essentially it's a primer in a spray form. As soon as I spray this my face feels fresh, hydrated and it leaves a really nice cooling effect, but I still use my regular primer to cover any blemishes for large pores. What I really love about the spray is using it to make my powdered makeup look a lot less cakey. I love makeup and I tent to wear a lot of it, whenever I have the intention to do minimal makeup I get carried away and can't miss out any of my regular steps - I just can't break the habit lol.  The primer water is a great spray to use before and after and it just helps my full coverage makeup look a little more dewy.

Gosh Eye Liner; For years the only pencil liner that I have loved and stayed loyal too is my Mac one as the pigmentation is incredible and its one of those ones that last all day. However I was sent this one from Gosh a little while in a PR package and I'm obsessed with it. First of all the shade is brown and I love how it's not as harsh as a black liner, perfect for the warmer weather and just makes my eyes look a little softer. Secondly I love the formula of this liner, it's really long lasting, doesn't melt off my eyes after a few hours and as soon as it applies it can be blended out really easily. I love how it comes with a little smudger brush at the end, which is perfect for those smokey eye moments. I love wearing this in my water line too and the brown is a nice change from the black

Maybelline Fit Me Foundation & Concealer

Maybelline Fit Me Foundation & Concealer; I am so obsessed with these two products and they are the perfect base makeup products. The foundation is perfect my oily skin and combined with my Urban Decay All Nighter Spray, my foundation lasts all day long. In terms of coverage, it pretty much coverers up everything, but it doesn't have a matte finish which is not something I usually go for, but I love the effect that it gives on my skin; It gives me that perfect natural looking skin which I love. It's so easy to apply and feels quite 'wet' for a foundation; As soon as its blended out it feels quite silky and smooth on my skin and right now I'm all about that natural glow.

The Fit Me concealer is another winner and it's quickly become my new favourite concealer. I've heard that this is a great dupe for the Nars Creamy concealer, which is what made me pick one up in the first place. I've never tried the Nars concealer that everyone talks about and loves, but I've seen a lot of comparison videos and I think they look very similar. I love using this under my eye area, it really brightens things up, without it looking cakey or setting into those fine lines. I also love the way it blends out. I hate that feeling of dragging makeup around my eye area because it needs so much blending, but I don't get that with this concealer, blending it out is effortless. Definitely one to try if you're wanting a cheaper alternative to the Nars one.

So there we have it, my current favourite makeup obsessions. Whats made its way into your makeup bag recently?
