Hands up if you can remember the last time you've worn a pair of jeans? Seriously what are they (lol) The thought of putting anything fancy or tight fitting during the days and weeks we've spent at home (how many is it now, I've lost count) sends shivers down my spine, for me the only way forward with my lockdown wardrobe has been loungewear all the way. During the beginning of lockdown I realised that actually a few pairs of leggings and the crumpled up gym gear hidden at the back of the wardrobe wasn't going to cut it - So I searched and searched online, but that came with its own set of troubles. Firstly everyone was buying loungewear and I couldn't find anything in my size and secondly so many brands I found were just bumping up the prices of loungewear just because its such a wardrobe favourite right now - Does this sound familiar? At the weekend I decided to make the most out of what sunshine we had (despite this awful weather we've had due to the storm) and thought I would take some outfit pictures for an outfit related post. The other week I was kindly accepted for a blogger campaign and was sent this retro but chic Casio watch from the Watch Hut to review. With the sun making an appearance I thought it would make for the perfect opportunity to show it off.

I absolutely love how dainty this Casio watch is and no way at all does it look too big for my little tiny wrists. The deign has a vintage/retro feel to it and reminds me of a watch I had way back when I was younger. Digital was definitely a big thing back then and its nice to see that it's made a little comeback in the form of this watch. Casio has always been a brand that has produced watches of high quality and performance that wont do much damage to your bank account at all - So this is a great piece to add to your watch collection, especially if your looking for something with that vintage feel to it. The 90's fashion trend has made a huge comeback this year, so I just know that this watch is going to work perfectly with so many current outfits in my wardrobe.

I am a huge fan of the burgundy face of this Casio watch as it has to be one of the best colours you can wear for autumn, no other colour best describes autumn than beautiful berry tones. Not only is the design of this watch amazing with its delicate silver strap, it's deign makes for a great bit of arm candy and this will work perfectly with any other pretty bracelets you may have. When it comes to watches I always have a major issue with sizing! As you can see from the pictures my wrists are pretty tiny and I can never find a watch to fit me - Let's face it going to the trouble of getting links taken out is a right pain. However this Casio watch is adjustable and it's so quick and easy to change the sizing of it which makes it perfect!

Chelsea Girl Embroidered Dress

So this weekend turned out to be a bit of an exciting one for me as I was lucky enough to win a pair of VIP tickets to the In Love With Fashion Charity football event... A very lucky me indeed. Having never been to a football match before I wasn't too sure what to wear, but seeing as there was going to be an entire football team full of celebs, I wanted to make an effort and dress to impress. In Love With Fashion also put on an after party for those attending, so it was really key that I wore something that was a little more on the dressy side, but not too full on. 

Lucky for me the weather was on my side yesterday, the sun was out and it wasn't too chilly so I decided to wear my Chelsea Girl (River Island) embroidered dress. For me this is the perfect autumn dress as the colour is spot on for this time of year. The embroidered detailing gives this dress that vintage feel to it and allows this dress to be dressed up a little without it looking to over the top. The sheer sleeves have to be my favourite thing about this dress and its detailing like this makes this dress just that extra bit special.

I've paired the dress with a little waist band just to cinch in at the waist a little, even though it does have an elasticated waist that will extenuate your waistline. And of course no autumn outfit is complete without a perfect pair of boots and I have been loving my new super comfy platform ones, also from River Island. I think the boots really complete this outfit and even though they give me an few good extra inches in height, the raised platform makes walking in them a dream.

I had such a lovely day at the celebrity football match, everyone who went to watch was dressed to impress and I was pretty pleased with my outfit choice.

OOTD || Little Mistress Embellished Halterneck Maxi Dress

When it comes to summer fashion, the maxi dress should be a staple item in everyone's wardrobe. I have a huge love for the maxi dress as they are just so easy to wear, look beautiful on and they are an item that will suit almost all body shapes and sizes - However it can be a pain if you a little on the shorter side like myself, if the maxi dress comes out, then so do my super high platform wedges. When I want to dress up for something special I usually opt for detailed skater dresses or if I'm really going all out, an eye popping body con.  However there comes a time where a girl needs to look classy, elegant but have an outfit that's eye catching all the same and if your looking for such an outfit, then this gorgeous embellished halterneck maxi dress from Little Mistress is just perfect.

I adore this maxi dress, as you can see from the pictures its a little too glamorous to be worn as an every day outfit, but would be perfect for something that requires you to dress up a little. The halterneck of this maxi dress is heavily detailed with its gold beads and it really makes the dress eye catching and unlike any other maxi dress I've seen. It almost looks like a statement necklace which is part of the dress - How fabulous is that? I also love how the bottom half of the maxi dress is made from a light chiffon material which is sheer so your able to see the shorter underlay of the dress underneath - It's a little tricky to see this in the pictures, but I find that it just gives the maxi dress that glam look making it perfect for evening wear or a special occasion. 

I love how this dress looks on, all I need now is to find the right occasion to wear it - If your going away on holiday then this would be a perfect evening dress to take away with you.
