Goals for 2019

It's the 9th January and the new year is already in full swing. Every year I like to reflect and set out a few goals that I would like to achieve throughout the year. But I fail miserably, every year without fail I never actually manage to tick anything off. That makes my years sound incredibly uneventful and that I don't actually do much, which is not the case at all. I find that I start well, then life just takes different turns and directions and I never actually achieve the things I originally set out to do. However this year is going to be different, I can already feel it and I'm ready to start making some big changes. Over the last few weeks, I've looked back at previous blog posts that are similar to this one and there is one common thing running between all of these posts and that is I don't set my targets or goals big enough, which may be a factor of not actually achieving the things I've set out. I've always been in the mindset that if I keep my dreams realistic then I take away any pressure and if I don't make them happen then no big deal. Well, this year it is a big deal as I'm a little bit fed up of starting a new year, reflecting on all that I've done in the past and feeling a little bit disappointed. Not anymore! The last few days I've been doing a lot of thinking about what it is exactly I want to achieve and I wan't to share my goals with you all. Some of you may read this and think I'm setting myself unrealistic goals or that I've got my head in the clouds and thats ok. But some of you may read this and feel the exact same as I do year on year out and like me are ready to actually do something about it and are ready to make a change.

End of Summer Favourites

I can't believe August is coming to an end! Does anyone else think this year is just flying past? I was reminiscing the other day on just how good summer has been this year, I know a lot of us all complained about the heatwave, myself included...But I'm not going to lie, I kind of miss the warm weather. August has been a bit of a flop really weather wise and even though my heart is still clinging onto summer, I'm currently sat here typing this post up sat with a hot water bottle on my lap, which says it all really. Anyway, enough of me being a typical Brit and talking about the weather, what I really wanted to share with you all today is some of my favourite summer beauty items, ones that I've reached for time and time again. Over the last few months I've not really tried anything new, and makeup has been kept to a minimum because of the heat, so the things I have been using really have been must haves for me.

What's In My Everyday Summer Makeup Bag

As much as I love makeup, I like to keep things to a minimum in the summer. Even though I live nowhere near a beach, I love that 'I've just walked off the beach' kind of look, so less is definitely more. Not to mention with this heat wave we are having, my makeup is just melting away by the afternoon so there really is no need to cake anything on. I thought I'd show you all the contents of my summer makeup bag, just to see what I've been loving recently and it might help you narrow down your essentials too.

3 Ways To Keep Your Hair Hydrated & Healthy This Summer

With the heat wave last week, it feels like summer has officially started in England and I love it. This week is still going to be hot and with these scorching high temperatures, it actually feels like I'm abroad and as I'm not actually planning on going away anywhere this year, I'm enjoying every ray of sunshine. With the weather being as hot as it is, it's really important to up our beauty routines and take extra care of our bodies and today I'm focusing on keeping your hair happy and healthy. I mentioned this over on my Instagram the other day, but when I go away on holiday I pack everything to ensure that I look after my body and skin, wether this be taking sun creams, after suns, lip balms, hydrating shampoos.... You get the idea. But I think because we never expect it to get as hot here in England and the majority of us work five days a week, you don't think this heat wave is the same as heat you get when your on holiday - Does that even make sense? I think a few of you will know what I mean. I guess what I'm trying to say in a nutshell that it can be easy to forget to look after yourself in this weather because you're doing normal everyday things still. With this in mind, the last few weeks I've been upping my beauty regime and I thought I would take you though my top 3 tips on keeping hair happy, healthy and hydrated this summer. Right now my hair is in the best condition that its been in for a long time and I can only put it down to these three steps.

My Favourite Bronzers For The Best Summer Glow

Bronzer is probably one of my favourite makeup items, I think because it always gives my skin that sun kissed look and I love holiday looking skin. For me bronzer is a must and its a step in my makeup that I never miss. We have been blessed in the UK with some gorgeous weather recently (I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it will stay) and I thought it was the perfect time to share some of the love on my favourite bronzers and the ones that will be a perfect addition to any makeup bag.

Mini Makeup Revolution Haul

Mini Makeup Revolution Haul

I love Makeup Revolution, when it comes to affordable makeup they are the brand you can always turn to and rely on. I'm pretty sure at one point a few years ago my entire makeup bag was all Makeup Revolution. Whilst I still love the brand, I don't really use their makeup as much as I used to, not because I don't like their products, but because when it comes to makeup there's always something new to try and I just can't help myself when it comes to discovering new brands and trying the latest release of a new product. It was only a month or so ago when it felt that everyone couldn't get enough of Makeup Revolution and word was that their new Conceal and Define Concealer was a pretty much like for like dupe of the Tarte Tape Shape Concealer, which got me really excited. I've always wanted to try Tape Shape, but I've always been put off by the price tag and knowing me I'd probably fall in love with it and that would be cause some damage to my bank balance every time I needed to repurchase it. For weeks and weeks my local Superdrug seemed to be permanently sold out of the Makeup Revolution Conceal and Define Concealer until last week, where they had my shade C5 in stock and I actually felt like jumping with excitement when I saw it. What made things even better was that Superdrug also had 3 for 2 across their makeup, so I decided to pick up a few other bits from Makeup Revolution and today I thought I'd give a little mini review of the things that I picked up.

Blogmas Day 11 - Making The Effort With Bloggers || Sharing Love, Sunshine and Sparkle!

When I started brainstorming ideas for Blogmas a few weeks ago, I knew that I had my work cut out and if I'm honest I've really had to use some brain power to think of blog ideas that will take me up everyday up until Christmas. However I've always seen myself as a creative person and love thinking outside the box a little. I knew that somewhere along the lines of my Blogmas posts that I wanted to give something back to my blogging community. I thought about doing the cliche giveaway post, but it just didn't sit right me with. Don't get me wrong giveaways are great, but with only one winner I feel that it's a bit unfair, especially with it being the season of good will. So I really had to pick my brain as to what it is I wanted to do.

After thinking for sometime, I thought of something that really excited me and to be honest I can't believe it's taken me this long to think of it as the actual idea is really simple - Always the way isn't it? One of my biggest blogging flaws is that I don't have the time, or make the time to keep up to date with the blogs I love; I also struggle to find the time to look for new blogs to follow. This makes me so sad as I actually love this side of blogging, but with so much going on in my life I've just not made the time or effort. Whilst some of you are on the ball with this (I really commend you) I feel that I'm not alone in saying that I don't make as much effort as I should with other bloggers. You'll be pleased to know though that I've already started to change my ways with this and Blogmas has really helped me in doing so. I plan to make it my mission to spread as much love, sunshine and sparkle as I possibly can.

To help start me off on my mission I would love for you to leave up to any THREE of your links below, whether that be your blog link, Twitter, Instagram etc you name it. Leave it below in this comments section and I will make it my mission to go and follow you and leave you a lovely Christmas comment. Not only will I do this, but I want to be able to share the love. So next week I shall do another blog post where I'll leave all your links (with clickable links) so others can easily find you and your blog and other social media sites.

I really want ti give back a little something to everybody and thought this would be the best way to do it. I really want next year to be a great blogging year and really want to get to know more about you, your blogs and make new friends too. So please, please, please leave your links in the comments below!

Beauty Blogging On A Budget || My Top Post Ideas

Beauty Blogging On A Budget - My Top Post Ideas, Beauty Reviews, Beauty Tags, Wish Lists, Purse Friendly Blogging Ideas, Beauty Blogger

When it comes to beauty blogging I have to hold my hands up high and admit that I sometimes more often or not give into the beauty blogging hype. What I mean by this is that the temptation to go out and spurge on the latest makeup collection or the most talked about products gets the better of me. I love shopping as much as the next girl, but something thrills me about buying makeup and theres that satisfaction that I'll have something new to review on my blog. As a beauty blogger I think it's only natural to want to try everything and of course review it. The only problem with this, no matter how fun and satisfying it is, is that beauty blogging sometimes is just no good for the bank balance.

Whilst typing up beauty reviews can be really fun, sometimes I find them to be a little repetitive and its good to spice things up a little bit. When I first started blogging I had just finished uni and I only really had the money to splash out on the essentials, rather than spend on the luxuries. I didn't have the products that I wanted on my wish list to review and because of this I was forced to think out of the box a little bit, get creative and think of other beauty related posts that would keep my readers interested and to keep them coming back for more.

I have to say I'm a little envious of my former blogging self as I went though a stage of just posting reviews on my blog and for me this did take the fun out of blogging a little bit. It made me think that whilst a review is great, its even better to create content that's unique and really helps to put your own stamp on to your blog. So I thought it would be great to share some of my blogging post ideas with you all. The best thing is, is that all of these ideas for posts don't cost a thing and are completely purse friendly; So if you're a student, on a spending ban or just want to change things up a little bit on your blog, keep on reading.

Makeup Looks

It's a given that we love our makeup products, but instead of adding new bits to our makeup collations, we can use the bits we have to inspire and influence our readers. Creating different looks with your makeup is a great way to show off your skills and the makeup you're currently loving at the same time. There are so many looks you could create with one eye shadow palette and your blog is a perfect place to show how you love wearing your makeup faves. These kind of posts are limitless and you could come up with posts such as: Face of the day, your favourite smokey eye, your spring makeup, etc the possibilities are endless. You don't have to stop with makeup either! If you love nail polishes and have a steady hand you could showcase some of your nail art designs and do step by step tutorials on your blog.

Daily Routines

Skincare routines and haircare routines are not just to be seen on YouTube, they make great posts too and I personally love reading about peoples daily routines. Call me nosey, but letting your readers know about your beauty routines is a great way to make things more personal on your blog. You might not think your hairs all that great, but your readers might so be sure to share your secrets and tips that work for you. Sharing your beauty regimes is a great way to showcase off some of your favourite products too.

Beauty Favourites

Your favourite beauty items don't have to just be shown once a month in a monthly favourites post, they can be featured on your blog at any time. If you're a beauty blogger the chances are you have quite the makeup collection and have loads of products to choose from and showcase. I love putting little collection posts up on my blog which showcase some of my must haves. For example I recently posted my favourite makeup for spring and my top spring lipsticks which went down so well with my readers. I love reading these kinds of posts and they're really fun to type up.

Wish Lists

Everyone I'm sure has a pretty extensive wish list, especially if you're a beauty blogger. If it's anything like mine its never ending and as soon as I cross one item off the list, I've added about three more - Talk about beauty blogging problems right? I love reading wish lists, their great to see what people love and want in their makeup collections. The chances are if it's made it's way onto a wish list, it is pretty hyped up about in the beauty world and makes for an interesting post. I also love style posts, putting together a collection of your must have fashion bits right now is great. If you're readers love your personal style it could give them a little inspiration for their next shopping sprees.

Re-Reviews

If you've been blogging for sometime like myself, no doubt you will have done your fair share of beauty reviews. When I review a product its because I love it and want to share it with you all. If your still loving that same product a year or two later its good to go back and re-review it. It's not something I really see on beauty blogs, but whenever I do see a re-review I know that it must be a great product and if I like the sound of it, it usually makes it way into my online shopping basket. I have to admit I'm guilty of not doing this, but there are some products that definitely deserve another feature on my blog.

Tags

Who doesn't love a good tag post? I certainly do. I love doing tag posts just because theres no pressure, their fun and it's a great way for readers to find out a little more about you. There are loads of tags floating around on the blogosphere and you don't have to be tagged by anyone to give it ago. If there are none that float your boat, make your own one up. It's a great way for your readers to get involved and get some exposure for your blog at the same time. It's a win win.

So there we have it, my top tips for beauty blogging on a budget. I really hope you found this post helpful. Not only are these kind of posts purse friendly but their great ideas for blog posts, especially if you're going though a bit of bloggers block.

10 Things Every Beauty Girl Needs To Know

Image 'Weheartit' edited by me

Loving makeup, looking good and feeling your best are some of the things that just come with being a girl. Thinking about this gave me a little inspiration for todays post and got me thinking that there are some golden rules that us beauty girls need to live by and I came up with a list of things that every beauty girl out there needs to know. Have a little read though it, see if you agree and let me know if there are any points on the list that you fail on - Being a beauty girl is not easy and there are loads of things that I could improve on, I would love to know what your thoughts are on this.

You can take on the world one lipstick at a time!

Lipstick is so important, actually whatever you decide to pop on your lips is important weather it be tinted balm, gloss or a the perfect lippie. Lipstick can make or break your outfit, give you confidence and set your whole makeup off. Choosing the right one is important, so be sure to pick the right one every morning, it really can make a difference.

Throw out your old mascara!

How many mascaras have you got in your beauty stash that are old, dried out and way too clumpy and clumsy to use. I tend to have a few mascaras on the go, and I'm probably the worst person for throwing out old mascara. I know that my mascara is coming to an end, but I'm pretty lazy when it comes to repurchasing a new one. I'm one of these girls who try and scrape every last bit of mascara out of the tube, even when it's gone dry and crusty. Mascara only has a self life of 3 months, so be sure to use, chuck and repurchase. Don't get lazy like me

Your eyebrows are sisters not twins!

I never thought eyebrows would become so important to me, but now every morning I probably spend way too much time trying to make my brows look perfect and it's no easy task. I swear my eyebrows are my beauty nemeses, I don't find it easy at all. Although I probably spend way too much time trying to get them to match and look as perfect as they can be, I need to remember that they are never going to look the same and thats ok - As long as you know the importance of doing your eyebrows that's all that matters.

Blend Blend Blend!

I know early mornings can prove difficult, especially now that its cold and dark outside, but it's the time of morning that we all sit in front of the mirror for our usual beauty routine. I'm more than likely half asleep when I apply my makeup, but it's so important to stay focused and make sure that you apply your makeup correctly and blend it all out. Getting to work and seeing that you haven't blended your foundation properly into your hairline is NOT a good look - trust me I've been there, totally awkward. Whether it be your foundation, eye shadow or blush, make sure you take the time to blend it all in.

Say good bye to chipped nails!

Nothing looks as pretty as just painting your nails, but there comes those few days after doing your manicure where your nails start to flake and chip which is not a good look. I know I pay a lot of attention to hands, particularly my own, so that means other people do too! Don't leave your chipped polish on for too long, take it all off and paint your nails with another pretty polish that is hiding away in your collection

How to apply falsies!

Applying false lashes is by no means an everyday makeup task, but there is always going to be an occasion where its necessary pop these whispy lashes onto your peepers. Whilst these tricky little black things can be a right pain in the bum to apply, they do make you lashes and overall makeup look amazing and practice really does make perfect. There is definitely an art in applying them and using the right glue can make the whole process a lot easier. If your in need of some extra practice, wear your lashes on a Friday and use the excuse it's 'False Lash Friday' thats what I do.

It's ok to be naked!

Okay, well it's ok to be naked whist your in the bath, but it's also good to give your skin a break and sometimes wear no makeup whatsoever. Yes that's right I'm talking about those makeup free days. I find this one very tricky as there is rarely I day where I don't leave the house, and if I am going out you can bet that I will always put my bet face forward. Letting my skin be completely natural is something that I'm starting to do lot more though and my skin does thank me for it. Go on I dare you not to wear any makeup at all one day this week!

Don't be dirty!

Yes that's right I'm talking about the one big beauty chore that all of us hate doing, and that is cleaning your makeup brushes. I am so guilty of doing this and tend to put it off for as long as I possibly can, which I know is totally gross, but washing them is a makeup necessity. Just think you'll makeup brushes will look and feel all brand new and your skin will thank you for it I promise.

Sharing is caring!

I know that the majority of you reading this will be my beauty blogger friends, but how many of us share our top beauty tips on our blogs. I know sometimes that I get wrapped up in reviews and excited about the launch of new products that I very rarely get a post up sharing my top beauty tips and I know we all have them. Just think we are always looking for better ways to do our hair, apply our makeup etc. One small thing that you do in your every day routine could be the answer to someone else's beauty dilemmas. Sharing is definitely caring, even if it's amongst your nearest or dearest - Spread a little bit of beauty love.

Take the perfect selfie!

What's the point in making yourself look beautiful every morning and not sharing your gorgeous face with the rest of the world. Every beauty girl needs to know how to take the perfect selfie, I think it's a must these days. If you've still not mastered the perfect selfie (I know I haven't) then practice makes perfect, even if it does mean you take 20 pictures and work your way though them choosing the best one haha.

So that's my ten points that is a must for every beauty girl. I would love to know your thoughts on this girlies, let me know if you agree and if you've got any more to add to the list please share in the comments below.

Lots of Love

Hi everyone, today is a really special day for me as it's my blogs three year birthday. It actually shocks me a little bit typing that out because it's just a crazy thought to think that I've been positing every week for three years and I'm still enjoying every bit if it. My blogging journey really has been an incredible one and I remember sitting down and typing up my first post three years ago thinking nobody would be reading my rambles at all. Three years later and I've seen my blog go from strength to strength and it amazes me that so many of you stop by, say hello and leave a comment or two - It really does make my day.

Love Me Beauty Box || August Edition - Menu 3

Love Me Beauty Box* £12.95

I would have to say the most exciting thing that comes through my door every month and one of the things I most look forward to has to be the arrival of my 'Love Me Beauty Box'. I honestly can't say enough how much I love this monthly subscription service just because it's so amazing and never fails to disapoint in terms of the beauty products that it has on offfer. What I really love is being able to choose from three different menus each month and having a little bit of control about what items are going to come though the door. Every month I find myself sitting down and spending a good twenty minutes or so flicking back and forth each menu as usually there all so good, who agrees with me that it's really difficult to pick one sometimes? This month month was no different and after thinking long and hard I finally decided to go for menu 3 - So if you want the details of this menu then be sure to keep on reading.

Marsk Mineral Eye Shadow 'Lucky Penny' (RRP £14.49)

When it comes to eye shadow I have to say I usually stay away from pigments just because I'm the type of girl who usually rushes her makeup in the morning because I get out of bed too late, and as we all know pigments can be so messy; The amount of times that I've found fly away bits of loose powder hit my cream carpet its unreal. However when I have the time, I do like to use these highly pigmented eye shadows, so I was pretty happy to see this stunning one from 'Marsk' thrown into this months box. I've never heard of Marsk before, but I have to say I am so impressed with the quality of this pigment. The shade I received is called 'Lucky Penny' and its this stunning copper bronze colour which looks amazing once on. Not only is the colour payout amazing, but it has a slight shimmer running though it which adds that little bit of extra dimension to your eyes. I love brown/natural tones when it comes to eye shadow, and I know that this pigment is going to look amazing when creating a brown toned smokey eye, I love it.

Mirabella Lip Luster Liner 'Shy' (RRP £10.50)

Lip liners for me are a beauty item that are becoming quite the 'must have' thing and I keep finding myself buying them to match the many different shades of lipstick that I own. I just find that not only does a good lip liner make my lipstick last longer, but also gives that illusion of having fuller lips. Again I've not heard of the brand 'Mirabella' but this lip liner has really impressed me and it's so lovely to use. I hate when you get those lip liners that really drag across your lips, but this one is really soft and the colour payout is amazing. The shade 'Shy' is the perfect dusty pink colour making it pair well wonderfully with all my nudey pink lipsticks, already I'm getting a lot of use out of this.

A La Carte - Smudge Proof Eyebrow Definer (RRP £23.00)

Out of all the items in this months box, this eyebrow definer from A La Carte was the only thing that disappointed me slightly just because the shade is for blondes and having dark hair and eyebrows means that this product is not going to be that much use to me. This shade was available in all three boxes and I was a little sad that there was no variation there, meaning that there wasn't something to suit everyone's brows. However it does say that this can be used as an eyeliner. I've not tested it out on my eyes yet, but I think that using such a light shade of eyeliner will look nice on those no makeup makeup days. I have to say that the nib of this brow pen is lovely and I found the colour payout great when I was swatching this on the back of my hand, so if you do have light brows I bet this product will work fabulously.

Oriflame - Swedish Spa Beauty Wonder Oil (RRP £8.45)

When it comes to oils, the only ones that I have in my beauty stash are the ones for you hair, its been a long time since I've had bottle of oil in the beauty drawer. I have to say oils always come in handy as they are such a multi purpose product and this one from Oriflame can be used on your body for massages or moisturising and used in the bath, and if you really want to go all out it can be used in your hair as a pre-shampoo treat. I've not tried this one out yet, but I have to say it smells gorgeous and I'm definitely going to be trying this out on my next pamper evening.

So that's everything in this months box, apart from the brow definer I was so impressed with every product and I love how each one is full sized which makes the box such good value for money. If you would like to treat yourselves to a Love Me Beauty Box, then be sure to head over the their website here.

I would love to know which menu you picked this month and what your thoughts are on the contents of this months box? Let me know in the comments below.

Love Me Beauty Box || July Edition

Love Me Beauty Box* £12.95 (Including P&P)

When the menu's for this months Love Me Beauty Box came out I was incredibly excited as the beauty goodies on offer where just unbelievable, so much so that it was so difficult picking a menu. So when the postie arrived with the July edition of the box I was actually buzzing! This month I opted for menu number two just because this box contained a gorgeous fuchsia lipstick that I knew would be right up my street, and as you know by now this is such a 'Danielle' colour - I just had to have it. Not only did menu number two contain a gorgeous lippie, but some other fabulous items too...

Ofra Pressed Eye Shadow 'Bliss' (RRP £8.80)

Ofra is not as brand that I've ever heard of before, but seeing as there are two products from this brand in this months box, I was pretty excited to try out something new. Needless to say that this eye shadow of theirs left me feeling a little speechless! Not only is this shadow such a gorgeous shimmery champagne colour (a favourite of mine) but it is so buttery and has a lovely finish to it. Not to mention that the pigmentation of this shadow is just amazing! For such a shimmery shade, the finish is so smooth and looks stunning on, especially for the summer time. I have been using this non stop since receiving it and I'm so excited to have discovered something new.

Ofra Long Lasting Liquid Lipstick 'Hollywood' (RRP £ 11.60)

Look how gorgeous the colour of this lipstick is! This liquid lipstick is just so beautiful and it was the item I was talking about earlier that made me make a decision on choosing menu number two. This liquid lipstick smells just like vanilla cupcakes and is really creamy and lovely to apply. Pretty much right away this soft lipstick dries into a stain leaving this gorgeous pop of colour on your lips, and this really is long lasting - Like all day lasting. For something that is so pigmented and long lasting, it isn't in any way drying on your lips which is such a huge bonus. As you can see from the pictures that I made the classic beauty blog error of not taking pictures of the products before I started using them and as you can see the writing on the packaging is starting to smear off which is a little disappointing (especially for the price) but the formula is so great that I can look past this.

Lashem (2ml Sample) Lash Enhancing Serum (RRP £40.00 - 3.5ml)

I've never felt the need to buy or try a lash enhancing serum before, just because most of them seem to be on the expensive side and I've always been quite content with the length of my lashes. However that's not to say that I wont say no to trying a product that will give them that extra little boost. Long lashes are always a good thing in my opinion, especially for sleepy eyes that need to look more awake. This product is only a sample size, but I'm pretty sure that there is enough product in here to see if it makes any difference to the length of my lashes. I'm pretty excited to give this ago and will definitely report back to you all on how well this works.

So Susan Dual Brow Powder (RRP £11.95)

Doing our eyebrows is such an everyday part of our makeup routine now and I have to say I'm really enjoying finding new products to test out on my brows. I'll be honest with you all now and say that my eyebrows are the one beauty thing I'm not very good at doing at all and I generally am never happy with the shape of them. Therefore I think I just like trying out any brow product that is hopefully going to make them look a little bit better. I have to say I really do like the look of this brow kit from So Susan, the powders are not the most pigmented that I've tried, but the shades are really warm and I love the way that its presented in its packaging. I've not tried this one out yet, but I'm hoping that it's going to work some much needed magic on my brows.

So Susan Flutter Mascara (RRP £14.95)

I am loving the look of this mascara, and I think it's great how this months box has given me the tools for gorgeous brows (I will try) shimmery eye lids, a product to add length to my lashes and now a dark carbon-black mascara to complete the look - Just what every beauty girl needs! I've never tried anything from the brand So Susan before, but I have to say that this mascara does look really impressive. The gold metallic packaging is gorgeous and it really does look as though this is going to be a good mascara. I've not tried it yet, but the stiff bristle brush looks as though its going to do a fab job at separating my lashes and adding a bit of volume to them too - I can't wait to try and test this out.

Weleda Sea Buckthorn Replenishing Body Lotion (RRP

You all know by now that I just love my body lotions, so I was especially shocked, wowed and excited when I saw this in this months box because it wasn't on the menu at all! Love Me Beauty really spoilt us by throwing in a surprise product. This body lotion smells incredible and has a zingy citrus smell to it, although I don't know if it's just my nose but to me it smells a bit peppery too, which is kind of weird, but it really does work well together. This lotion is perfect for the summer time, not only does its smell give off those summer vibes, but its so hydrating and sinks into your skin so quickly, this really is a fabulous moisturiser.

The Teashed 20 Whole Leaf White Tea Bags (RRP £3.50)

Now if your a tea lover then I'm sure that these Teashed tea bags are a great little edition to this months box, but as you know by now I don't do hot drinks at all, so this is something that doesn't really excited me in the slightest. However this months box is so exceptionally good that I don't even care that these tea bags are in here, I've already gifted them to someone who will enjoy drinking them - Talk about sharing the love ;)

So as you can see this months box is just incredible and I'm sure your like me and are just super impressed. If this post hasn't convinced you that your missing out by not subscribing to the Love Me Beauty Box, then be sure to take a look at my video where you can see me talk about these products in a little more detail - I would love if you could subscribe to my channel whilst your there too.

MeMeMe Coral Blossom Cheek & Lip Tint || Review

MeMeMe Coral Blossom Cheek & Lip Tint* £5.50

For the last few months I have been quite obsessed with MeMeMe Cosmetics Beat The Blues Highlighter and this month MeMeMe have added another cheek and lip duo to their collection which I've pretty much fallen in love with right away. I am a huge fan of multipurpose products and have been a fan of the Benefit cheek & lip stains for some time, especially 'Posie Tint' (its gorgeous) but with its £24.50 price tag its a little on the expensive side. However MeMeMe have brought us a much more purse friendly dupe this summer that is just so amazing and is a makeup bag essential for anyone who loves cheek and lip stains.

This Coral Blossom tint from MeMeMe is beautiful on and I've loved using this for an everyday summer makeup look. I always think coral tones  look gorgeous this time of year, especially when your all bronzed from the summer sun. What I really love about this cheek and lip tint is that the coral shade is a really warm toned peach which is going to look amazing for all skin tones, especially with those of you who have fairer skin. With just a few dabs of the brush onto your cheek bones is going to be enough colour payoff to give you such a lovely warm flush of colour. I actually find that once the tint has been blended onto your cheeks it leaves such a lovely dewy finish and isn't too heavy at all. I know most of us love going for that natural skin look this time of year and its great to find a blush that is going to work with that look. Does anyone else find it annoying when you use a dewy foundation only to cover this fresh faced look up with a powdery chalky blush? I find that the Coral Blossom tint really does help to give your cheeks that sexy summer glow... Yes Please.

As for using this as a lip stain, again the colour payout is very subtle but enough to add a lovely warmth to your lips. I find that it just adds a lovely coral tone to your lips and definitely gives you that 'your lips but better' look. As soon as you pop this on it dries immediately and what I really love is that it will stain your lips for hours. Sometime's I'll even add a sheer gloss over the top just to add a little something extra and this looks ever so pretty on.

Over the past week I've actually not stopped wearing the Coral Blossom Cheek & Lip Tint,  its been great wearing this both on my lips and cheeks at the same time as it really does create such a fabulous summer look, it really is a summer essential!

I would love to know if your a fan of cheer and lip tints and if so what are your favourite ones to use? I think this coral shade is just super pretty and gorgeous, but let me know what your go to summer shade is?

Just a quick little update post for you today and that is I've filmed and gotten up my quick messy bun hair tutorial. This is such an easy hair style to achieve and will only take you a few minutes I promise. I just love wearing this hairstyle for the summer, not only does it look pretty, but it gets your hair off your face too.

Northampton Blogger Meet Up #1

Last Sunday was the day of the Northampton Blogger Meet which had to be one of the most anticipated and exciting days of the year, well for me anyway. Nothing beats a good blogger meet up, but the fact that it was held in my little town of Northampton was just a huge bonus. I always knew that there where other bloggers in Northampton including the lovely Louise from Sprinkle of Glitter who we all know and love, but I had no idea just how many amazing bloggers there where right on my very door step. Mia over at Pretty Electric and her sister Amber who blogs at Amber's Beauty Talk organised an incredible local meetup which is a day that will go down in blogger history for sure (well certainly in my little history book).

As you can see from the picture above there was quite a few us Northamptonshire girls and it was so lovely getting to know and talk to everyone. The day started off at Revolutions bar where we were able to have a mingle and get to know one another over a cocktail or two. I can't think of a better way to relax and calm everyone's nerves than over an alcoholic beverage. Fear not though ladies it was 12 O'Clock which made it perfectly acceptable and okay to be drinking at this time. However I am the complete exception to this as I forgot my ID and despite telling the bar lady that I was 26 she would only let me order a non alcoholic cocktail - delicious it was nevertheless.

After a good mingle, we had a lovely lady called Becky from Harlequin Cosmetics that took the opportunity to showcase some amazing handmade soaps, shower gels, lip balms and incredible smelling body butters. All of her cosmetics are made in her kitchen at home which I think is incredible (how nice must her home smell?). It was inspiring to see another blogger who had taken it upon herself to start her own business and create lovely beauty bits in her own home. My pictures really don't do her products justice, but if you have the time be sure to take a little look at her website here.

After spending a fair bit of time at Revs, don't worry we didn't go too mad on the cocktails it was time for some food. Pizza Express was on the menu which excited me to no end as I had never actually been to one before. The food really didn't disappoint, it was so delicious and I had such a blast talking and getting to know the girls sat around the table.

With our bellies full and any alcohol soaked up it was time to kill some time and do a little bit of shopping around town. It wasn't long before we were due at our local Lush store, which was possibly the most favourite part of my day. I am a huge Lush fan, so I was beyond excited to go and hang out at the Lush store out of shopping hours. The guys at Lush really looked after us and I had so much fun trying, testing and smelling all the Lush goodies. I won't go into too much detail about what we got up too at Lush as I have another post planned for this, so keep your eyes pealed for that.

I honestly had the best time at the Northampton Blogger Meet, not only was it amazing to meet some local bloggers but the actual day was so well thought out and planned. Mia and Amber did such a fantastic job and I can't thank them enough for their efforts. Not only did they organise a wonderful day but they also surprised us with the most incredible goody bags; I was actually speechless when I opened mine at home and had a good look though it all WOW is all I can say.

A big WOW indeed, sorry for all the pictures but I was struggling to get everything into just the one picture. As you can see there is such an incredible selection of goodies which just makes me speechless. How amazingly well did Mia do? She must have worked her little socks off and I can't thank her and Amber enough. As the neat freak in me had to find a home for everything as soon as I got in, I now realise that I've missed out a handful of things that were also included in the goody bag including a sample of the Benefit Bad Gal Mascara which I cannot wait to try! I've already started to work my way though this lot, but if there is anything you would like to see a full review of then please let me know.

I had such a brilliant day and I would love to know what your thoughts are on blogger meet ups and if you've been to any yourself, be sure to let me know in the comments below.
