Hi guys, first of all I'd like to insert a big apology 'right here'. I had every intention of doing some blogging whilst away on holiday, but the second week I was just completely overwhelmed with sunshine, cocktails and beach life, you know how it is! With that being said I feel like I have loads to catch up post wise as there are just so many things I need to blog about. I thought I would start my catch up posts with my monthly favourites. I know I'm way late on this one and it will be only a week or so till the next favourites post goes up, but oh well right?
Last month I found myself using a lot of new products that quickly became love at first use and I've been using them non stop. I'll start things off with haircare. For the longest time I've been Moroccan Oil's number one fan, I've used it non stop and it's by far my favourite hair oil on the market. So you can only imagine my disappointment when I poured every last drop out of the last bottle I had in my stash. Now whilst I can't wait to repurchase another bottle, my holiday savings and spendings meant I couldn't afford to splurge so I've been using a much cheaper alternative. Say hello to the Pantene Pro-V Dry Argan Oil. I picked this up when doing my weekly food shopping as it was on offer and whilst it's not as good the Moroccan Oil it's a pretty good alternative and it's helped to keep my hair soft, sleek and manageable. I find this oil to quite thin which so I do tend to use a little more so it can work it's magic, but I love the way it transforms my hair after using it and I would repurchase it again.
A few of my recent posts have featured some products from Make Believe, a tanning brand which I absolutely love. Before I went on holiday I was exfoliating my skin like mad and the Make Believe Spa & Polish Exfoliator was my go too scrub. I just love how this gentle scrub enriched with Argan Oil makes my skin feel, it feels so luxurious on my skin and does a great job at getting rid of any fake tan and of course prepping your skin for a suntan. I've also been loving the Make Believe Instant Tan Bronzer. A lot of you know by now that I'm a little tan obsessed, but I didn't want to do a full fake tan before going on holiday so reached for a daily wash off one instead. This instant tanner from Make Believe gave me such a beautiful glow in an instant and was so easy to apply in the mornings. What I really love about it is that it's non streaky formula applies so easily and it looks very natural, which is a must for me with any fake tanner.
When it came to makeup choices last month, some all time favourites definitely saw a lot of love. I've talked about Makeup Revolutions Lip Geek Lipstick in Ken Will Want Me so many times on my blog, and here I am sat here talking about it again. I think it's possibly my favourite lipstick of all time. Last summer it saw a lot of love and now summer is here again it's all I'm wearing. Ken Will Want Me is such a gorgeous everyday pink colour that really brightens up my look, it's not too bold but not too subtle at the same time, I just love it.
I've also been wearing Benefits They're Real Push Up Liner non stop too. I'm a big fan of this eyeliner for all the obvious reasons; I'm sure you've read all the rave reviews (you can find mine here). But the main reason why this liner has really stood out to me this month is because it's a hayfever makeup life saviour. This time of year I suffer terribly with hayfever and my eyes are constantly watering which means my makeup is forever running down my face. With all that crying the Benefit eyeliner always seems to stay put and doesn't irritate my eyes at all. I don't know how but it also stays put in my waterline which is just amazing and for these reasons I love this liner even more.
Lastly is a product that I thought I'd throw in for you fellow hayfever sufferers. Like I mentioned I suffer so badly and I'm constantly trying and testing different sprays and tablets to help ease my symptoms. One spray that I've been loving in particular is the Beconase Hayfever Relief as it really helps my eyes from watering and makes me feel less congested. It sounds and is really gross having to spray something up your nose, but I find that it works pretty much instantly. Although it doesn't totally clear my symptoms, it's such a relief spraying it prevents my symptoms from getting worse.
So there we have it, my very late mostly favourites post. I would love to know what you've been loving recently and if you have any recommendations for hayfever relief please share in the comments below.

Ah I feel your Moroccanoil pain! I ran out of mine last week and my hair is already gross! xx
ReplyDeleteThe Benefit They're Real push up liner is one of my favourite liners as it is so easy to use on a everyday basis. I have never used Moroccan oil, but after reading this I think I will give it a go.

PS I Follow Back ;) xox
Hayfever is so annoying this time of year! I also really like the Beconase spray I find it works the best for me and then when I feel like it needs a little help I normally take a Clarityn tablet which is also great :) x
