Makeup Revolution Ultra Velour Lip Cream || The Collection

Before Christmas I was lucky enough to try out and test the gorgeous new Makeup Revolution Ultra Velour Lip Creams, as you all know I love my lipsticks, especially ones that leave a velvety matt finish and are highly pigmented. Just looking at these, I knew immediately that these lip creams would be right up my street. I seriously think Makeup Revolution can do no wrong, they just continuously keep surprising us with new beauty collections and I have to say that the release of the 'Ultra Velour Lip Creams' have been some of my favourite.

As the name suggests, these lip creams have a gorgeous cream like velvet texture to them and leave a stunning semi matte finish on your lips. However because these lipsticks have this rich cream formula, they don't dry your lips out in anyway and almost gives the combined look of a wet lipstick too. These lip creams are totally different to the other lip creams that I've tried before, and they really do give that illusion of having 'velvet' lips. You will see from the swatches that these lipsticks are highly pigmented and look amazing on.

Finding the perfect natural nude shade can be pretty difficult, but if your on the hunt for a nude that creates that 'your lips but better' look then I would definitely suggest you pick up 'Their Eyes Can't Find Us'. This shade is just so perfect for everyday wear, it works with every makeup look and is perfect for those minimal makeup days. What I really love about this is how understated it is and it gives you a perfect healthy pout without looking as though you've tried too hard.

For me the perfect nude is a rosy pink toned one and 'Can't we just make love instead' has that perfect pink undertone to it. Wearing this lipstick just makes my lips look really full and creates that perfect pout. If you were to pick up any of the Ultra Velour Lip Creams, this is the one that I would recommend you pop in your basket, its just gorgeous and will suit everyone,

Out of all the shades in the Ultra Velour collection, 'move your mouth forever' was probably the shade I was the least excited about as its extremely light and I think you have to have the right skin tone to pull it off, you fair skinned girls I'm looking at you! Whilst the shade is a bit too light for my all year round tanned skin, I do think that this is a stunning nude, and if angels were to leave behind kisses, they would be in this colour and shade - it really is beautiful.

Deep berry red toned lipsticks for me were so last season and since the new year began I've loved switching my lipsticks around. A great way to make a statement with your lipstick is to go purple! I always think that a purple lipstick is a little more daring and is a great way to shakeup your makeup look. Pink toned purples are always a great to have in your collection and 'Not one for playing games' is one of the most stunning purples I have come across, I love wearing it and get nothing but compliments every time that I do. This lip cream is not too dark, no way near boring and instantly livens up you're makeup look, I love it.

Again when it comes to the purple shades in the Ultra Velour collection, Makeup Revolution have gotten it spot on; 'All I think about is you' is the perfect plum shade that has pink berry undertones to it and it is seriously stunning. I think this lipstick is the perfect transitional colour from winter to spring, it's one of those shades that would never get bored of wearing and looks flattering on so many skin tones.

Every lipstick collection needs a classic pillar box red and the Ultra Velour collection has theirs with 'you're not the best, you're not the last'. I wore this colour non stop over the Christmas period, which is really surprising for me as I don't usually suit this shade of red. I would describe this red as a 'true' shade of red with slight orange undertones to it, making it perfect for all year round - It's bold, fun, vibrant and beautiful.

Out of all the swatches that you see in this post 'say yes, it's what we do best' is probably that one shade that hasn't photographed true to colour. In real life its actually a lot darker and is more of a brick red with slight brown tones to it. I find this to be such a unique shade of red, and its so refreshing to find something a little different. It's definitely more of a vampy red, so if you love your lips dark, you'll want to add this to your collection.

It's pretty obvious to you all that I love my lipstick, but its pink lipstick that is really the way to my heart, which I think is only natural given that I'm a total girly girl. Coral shades are such a perfect spring colour and 'don't bring me down' is one of those perfect girly coral shades - This one is such a vibrant pink and although its bright its really wearable and looks gorgeous on.

If you love your neon lipsticks, then I can promise you you'll adore 'sweet boy, with a big mouth'. This bright bubblegum pink shade of lipstick seriously makes a statement; It's one of those shades that are really fun to wear and will look amazing with a tan. This lipstick has a really light lilac/blue notes to it which really makes it different to anything else in my collection, its beautiful.

Last, but by no means least, completing the Ultra Velour collection has to be the shade 'what will it take to make you want me' which is possibly my favourite shade in the entire range. This lipstick is neon bright, its the perfect barbie pink shade and it looks stunning on. When summer is in full swing I know I'll be reaching for this daily. This hot pink has blue tones to it, which is great if your wanting to give to appearance of whiter teeth and it will work perfectly from day to evening. If there is one lip cream that you need to pick up, I would definitely recommend this one.

If you couldn't tell already I'm a huge fan of the Makeup Revolution Ultra Velour lip creams, the colour payout is just amazing, they wear beautifully on your lips, the doe foot applicator makes for a really easy application and not to mention they all smell like caramel which makes applying them dreamy. If your looking to introduce some new shades into your lipstick collection I can't recommend these enough.

If you've tried any of these lip creams, be sure to let me know in the comments below which one is your favourite.

Makeup Revolution I Heart Makeup Lip Geek Lipstick Collection #1 The Pinks

Makeup Revolution I Heart Makeup Lipstick* £2.99 each

Last Saturday the most amazing parcel came though the door and sent me from a sleepy lay in mode straight into lipstick heaven! If these pictures aren't enough to make you lipstick lovers swoon over your screens then keep reading because once you see these swatched I promise you that you'll be amazed.

I'm sure most of you are aware by now the hype that's surrounding 'Makeup Revolution' if not then where have you been? Makeup Revolution is a brand that offers us beauty junkies quality but affordable makeup, if you have a few hours to spare I dare you to take a look at their website as you'll be lost in it for hours, I promise. Recently Makeup Revolution launched their 'I Heart Makeup Lip Geek Lipsticks' onto their site and I've been trying and testing out the collection for you guys. I'm honestly so impressed with these Lip Geek lipsticks and I just know that your going to love them too.

Firstly how amazing is the packaging? Packaged in bright neon pink and purple casing, these lipsticks are so eye catching, pretty to look at and make all my black MAC lipsticks look a little boring (sorry MAC). Not only do these lipsticks look pretty, but the formula is fabulous too. Each one of these lipsticks has a really creamy finish to them, are super pigmented and are not drying on your lips in anyway whatsoever; Even when they start to fade, they are so pigmented that they fade to a lovely stain on your lips, I can't fault them.

As many of you know now, when it comes to lipsticks pinks are definitely my go too shades and the 'Lip Geek' collection has some gorgeous girly pinks on offer, so I thought I'd showcase them all first - So get comfy as there are quite a few to get though.

Barbie Is Jealous

Is it just me that thinks this or is the name of this lipstick fabulous? Being a girly girl my love for Barbie will probably never fade, so to have a lipstick in my collection that is a true Barbie pink is just amazing. If Barbie was to pick a shade of lipstick I bet she would want this gorgeous shade on her lips; 'Barbie Is Jealous' is the most gorgeous bright pink fuchsia shade that just looks so gorgeous on. If you love all things pink then you need this lipstick in your life, its just stunning on and will definitely bring out the Barbie girl in you.

Candy Rock has to be the perfect shade for those of you who adore your bright pink neon shades; this lipstick is so bold and vibrant and just looks gorgeous on your lips. I know I'll definitely be using this as a go too shade this summer. Not only will 'Candy Rock' make your lips pop and make a statement, this shade is also going to look gorgeous along side your holiday tan. This shade also has blue undertones to it, which is fabulous if your wanting to make your teeth look a little whiter.

Again I love the name Makeup Revolution have given this lipstick, 'Marshmallow Kiss' is such a gorgeous peachy light toned pink and is going to look stunning on you girls who have fairer skin. I love how this lipstick has a slight shimmer and frost to it which adds a little more definition to your lips. Even though this shade is a little too light for me, its ever so wearable and it's a great everyday lipstick that will work with so many makeup looks.

Ken Will Want Me

The name of this lipstick really says it all, and for me this is the most gorgeous girly pink colour and is just such a classic shade of pink; it's not too bright but not too pale either, this shade is one for everyone. If you were going on a first date then this is the shade of lipstick that you would want to be wearing - It just gives you those perfect kissable lips. If your wanting really pretty girl lips then you need this shade. Out of the whole Lip Geek collection 'Ken Will Want Me' is possibly my favourite one, I love it.

This lipstick has to be the most wearable everyday pink in the collection as its a very nude pink and gives you that 'your lips but better' look. If you love your pink toned nudes then this shade is for you. I absolutely love the colour and once on it kind of reminds me of MACS 'Lovelorn' which is an all time favourite of mine. This is just so wearable, looks really girly on and is just one of those staple pinks that every lipstick lover should have in their collection.

Baby Doll

For me 'Baby Doll' is such a princess pink which makes this lipstick so pretty and girly. As you can see from the pictures its really light and again I think it would suit those of you with lighter skin. For such a light shade 'Baby Doll' is so pigmented which is so often not the case with this shade of lipstick. I absolutely love this colour, I just don't think lighter pinks suit me as much as the more bolder and daring shades of pink do. This lipstick also has a slight frost finish to it, but it's very subtle and just gives your lips that extra bit of definition.

So that's all the pinks in the 'Lip Geek' collection, as you can see from the pictures they are super gorgeous, creamy and look beautiful on. These lipsticks are such great value for money, and the pigmentation of each lipstick is just amazing. If your looking to add any to your lipstick collection make sure you check out the Makeup Revolution site here.

I would love to know which of these shades are your favourite? Let me know in the comments below; and if pinks are not really your colour then keep a look out as I'll be dedicating a post to all the coral shades very soon.

Collection Lasting Colour Lipstick - Sweet Tart || Review

Hi ladies! I hope your all having a fabulous weekend and enjoying your Saturday evening. It feels a little bit weird for me to be blogging on a Saturday night, but I'm working all weekend so it doesn't really feel like the weekend at all - Anyone else with me there? On the plus side I do have Monday off, so no Monday blues for me. I really wanted to get a post up for you all this evening and I'm really in the mood to talk to you all about a pink/coral lipstick that I have been loving recently, it even made it to my monthly favourites post so its definitely a winner.

The lipstick that is taking the spotlight in today's post is the Collection Lasting Colour lipstick in Shade 8 Sweet Tart. Now before I go into detail and rave about this lipstick I just want to point out that this is the first ever lipstick that I've tried from Collection and for its £2.99 price tag I am so impressed. I've always been a huge fan of the infamous Collection lasting perfection concealer, but have always overlooked their other products. I only stumbled across this lipstick because my mum gave me one as she accidentally bought two in the same shade (now I know why I've done this so many times).

On first impressions I absolutely love the shade of this lipstick, Sweet Tart is a pretty pink that is fairly bright, but in no way neon. I find that the pink shade has a light coral undertone to it which I think softens the shade, and I would definitely describe this as a pinky red. As most of you will know by now, I love pink lipsticks (often its a case of the brighter the better) and I was so drawn to the shade of this lipstick. What really impressed me though is the pigmentation of this lipstick as it really does give a great colour payout. As this Collection lipstick is on the cheaper side, I was in no way expecting for the colour to be as bright and bold as to what it looks on first appearances which is a huge plus.

The Collection Lasting Colour Lipstick has a really creamy formula and I love that it has a nice glossy shine to its finish once its been applied. However with it having such a creamy formula you would expect this lipstick to be fairly hydrating. Unfortunately I find that this lipstick doesn't do much in terms of popping some much needed moisture back into my lips - although for its price I can't complain. Although this lipstick feels really creamy and soft on, it has a bit of a waxy feel to it, which when I think about it does bug me, but then again I put this down to the price and something you would definitely expect when paying more for a lip product.

One thing I really do love about this lipstick other than the fabulous colour pay off, is that its really long lasting - which again is something that I did not expect at all. I love the fact that when it starts to fade it leaves more of a stain look on your lips rather than rubbing off completely.

The only other thing I can say about this lipstick, is its packaging. If I'm honest I don't think that its that great, but its certainly not bad. The plastic does feel a little cheap, but it is sturdy and the lid holds on firmly in place - even when its being thrown around in my handbag. But then again, when I think about the price of this lipstick, I know I can'r be fussy about the packaging, especially not when the colour is so gorgeous and it looks fabulous when on.

Overall I really love this lipstick, I find it really easy for on the go and I absolutely love the shade. Whilst it's not my favourite lipstick in terms of formula, I love the colour payout and the pigmentation of it is just fabulous. I think it's such good value for money and is perfect if your thinking about experimenting with new and different lip colours.

I would love to know your thoughts on this lipstick and if you love Sweet Tart just as much as I do. Be sure to let me know in the comments below.

Tickle Me Pink || Pink Beauty Products for Spring

I was hoping to get this pink products related post up for Valentines seeing as it was the week for love and romance, but what a total fail that turned out to be thanks to my Internet completely not working at all last week! That to one side I really wanted to get this post up for you all and was trying to think of the perfect moment to do so. Now I know that Spring has not even started yet (it does feel like forever for Winter to die out) but the other day I did see some daffodils starting to spout which made me think Spring is definitely on its way... HURRAY!

I know I'm not alone here when I say I co-ordinate my makeup to match the seasons and whilst I get so excited to wear those gorgeous berry toned colours come Winter time, I'm a pretty in pink girl at heart and I can't wait for the comeback of Spring and Summer colours. Blame the daffodils or just my excitement, but I thought I would show you some of my favourite pink beauty products which I think will be perfect for Spring.

Lipsticks: Left to Right

Deborah Milano Shine Creator Lipstick Shade 8*
As a lot of you know I have a weakness for pink lipsticks, especially this Shine Creator one from Deborah Milano. I was kindly gifted this last summer and since then it's been loved and treasured. These Shine Creator lipsticks have a very similar formula to the Revlon Lip Butters, but are much more hydrating and pigmented in my opinion. Shade 8 is such a gorgeous and bright fuchsia colour which is really rich in colour, has such a creamy formula and really makes you lips shine as well as giving them a pop of colour. This will be the perfect lipstick to wear with those cute ditzy floral dresses that always make a comeback during Spring time. If you would like to see what it's like swatched you can read my full review here

Bourjois Rouge Edition Lipstick - Neon Rose
First of all, how lovely is the name of this lipstick - I don't know about anyone else but I love when companies give their products cute little names. As the name suggests this lipstick from Boujois is a bright neon pink lipstick and I know its a little early on in the year for neon (for some, not me) I just can't help myself. I love LOVE this bright neon pink. Its a stunning rosy pink neon that has blue undertones to it and whenever I wear it I do think its a little Barbie, which is again something I love and don't mind. I love lipsticks that really make your lips pop and this shade is just gorgeous for Easter time! Again I have a full review of this lipstick and you can find it here.

L'Oreal Color Riche Julianne's Nude - Collection Privee
Seeing as I've raved about two really bright, but beautiful lipsticks for Spring, I thought I would tone things down just a little for those of you who are more into your nudes. Now when it comes to lipsticks pink nudes totally have my name written all over them and I find them to be the the only nudes that suit me and what I feel comfortable wearing. My favourite pinky nude to date has to be Julianne's Nude lipstick from the L'Oreal Color Riche collection. As far as I'm aware this was a limited edition lipstick, but I've still seen it stocked in my local Boots. I absolutely adore this lipstick and think its gives you the perfect nude lip. The pink tones to it don't give you those manikin lips and give you a lovely warmth of colour. I love wearing this lipstick when I'm wearing a smokey eye and I know I'm going to keep reaching for it throughout Spring. If you would like to see my full review ,again you can read it here.

Ted Baker Glitter Eyeshadow
Now this post would not be complete unless I added a touch of sparkle to it and as my blog name suggests I love me a bit of sparkle! Just after Christmas I was gifted this gorgeous glitter eyeshadow by Ted Baker from one of my besties Meg. Her words exactly where 'I know you love pink, sparkle, glitter and Ted Baker so this is the perfect product for you' - which is so true! The glitter in this eyeshadow is what I would describe as a champagne coloured pink and it looks so pretty on. I love using this just above my eyeliner or on my lower lash line for a bit on understated sparkle. I've still yet to use this full out over my eye lids but I can imagine it looks beautiful once on. I'm not sure where you can buy this as I've only seen Ted Baker cosmetics around Christmas time so if any of you know where I can please let me know in the comments below as I love this glitter pot!

Sleek Blush - Flamingo
If you've seen some of my latest blog posts then you know that I'ma  big fan of Sleek blushers and you can read all about my love for one of their blush palettes here. However if I had to pick one blusher to choose from Sleek, Flamingo would win by a mile. I love this blusher and it's the perfect one to use if your after gorgeous rosy cheeks. I know in the pan its extremly bright, and whilst it is super pigmented the lightest touch with your blusher brush will give you the prettiest flush of colour to your cheeks. I love that rosy cheek look and this is the perfect blusher for that look. If you would like to see this blusher up close be sure to have a read of my full review here.

Soap & Glory Sugar Crush Body Buttercream
I think the Sugar Crush scented products from Soap & Glory are a firm favourite among us beauty blogggers and its definitely one of mine. As much as I love this delicious sweet lime scented body butter from Soap & Glory its not really I scent I gravitate towards during winter, it's definitely more of a Spring and Summer scent as its just so fresh. Now Spring is just around the corner I know that this is going to be my go too body butter and the fact that its contained in hot pink packaging makes it perfect for this post.

Sienna X Radiance Body Balm
I know its a little way off before we start flashing a bit of skin, especially on your arms and legs, but I do know that I will be going full steam ahead on my fake tanning routine now that Winter will soon be behind us. I love tanning as I always feel that I look better and have much more confidence with a tan. One product that I love using with a tan has to be the Sienna X Radiance Body Balm as it does an amazing job at hydrating your skin and adding a lovely sparkly but subtle sheen to your skin. This little bottle was gifted to me by one of my besties Gem over at Miss Makeup Magpie ( I know you all know her) as she knows how much I love tanning. I love how silky smooth this balm makes my skin and it does a great job at giving your skin an luminescent sheen which makes your skin look perfect. This is the perfect balm to use for any party nights out that you have coming up, especially if your thinking about bearing all and getting your pins out!

So that's everything for my pink Spring beauty products. I really hope you enjoyed this post as its a little bit different to what I usually do and I would love to know if your loving any of the products that I've raved about in this post.

October Favourites

WOW guys can you believe it, its that time of the month where everyone's feed is filled with monthly favourite posts! I can't believe just how quick the months seam to be passing, although right now I'm not complaining one bit as the countdown for Christmas is officially now on! I can't wait to get some Christmas related posts up on my blog, expect to see a few little surprises and of course those loved Christmas wishlist posts... All that excitement aside, today I really want to share with you all just what products I've been loving recently.

L'OREAL COLLECTION PRIVEE LIPSTICK BY JULIANNE
I wont go into too much detail about just how much I am in love with this lipstick as I dedicated a whole blog post about my love a little while ago, which you can find here. But oh my gosh guys this lipstick is just beautiful and looks so pretty once its on. Everyone needs a good nude and this pink toned one from L'Oreal is just amazing, it gives flawless application and looks great with any outfit your wearing and most makeup looks. I love it.

REVLON COLOR STAY FOUNDATION
I took my blog pictures for this post this morning, and and I've just realised now that this foundation made its way onto my monthly favourites post last month. If that's not love for a product then I don't know what is? Honestly I have been so impressed by this foundation and it really does blow any other high street foundation right out of the water! If your wanting flawless looking skin with a matte finish then I highly recommend this foundation. Not only does it make your skin look perfect but it is so long lasting, seriously this stuff does not budge and will stay put the whole day... AMAZING!

UMBERTO GIANNINI GLAM HAIR SCRUNCH UP THE VOLUME MESSY TEXTURE CREAM
I picked up this product a little while ago on a whim whilst Boots were offering 3 for 2 on all their hair care products (oh Boots how I love you for bringing me such wonderful deals). Anyway this product was my freebie and I've been reaching for it a lot since I picked it up so thought it earned a well deserved spot on my favourites post! When it comes to styling my hair, I'm a style me quick, fuss free hair kinda girl. Most mornings I'll never spend more than 10 minutes on my hair. I always think that the best kind of hairstyle for fuss free hair is messy textured waves and although sea salt spay does a fantastic job at creating surfer girl hair, I find that sometimes my hair just needs that little bit more. I don't want to say too much about just how well this product works at giving your hair that boho looks as I'm planning on getting a full review up for you. So for now I'll just say its brilliant and does such a great job at adding volume and plenty of texture to your hair.

HASK ARGAN OIL SHAMPOO & CONDITIONER
Last month I was so lucky enough to be sent this Argan shampoo and Conditioner from Hask Hair and I can honestly say its one of the best hair care products I've had the pleasure of using. As of late my hair has been in tip top condition and I really believe that this shampoo and conditioner have made a massive difference to the healthy condition of my hair. These are such luxury products and straight away I can feel a difference in my hair when using them. I'm planning on getting a full review of these products up very soon so again I wont go into too much detail  but they are seriously impressive.

So that's everything for this months favourites, I would love to know what you've been loving last month and if any of your favourites match mine?

September Favourites

Finally we're in October, I personally love this time of year as I feel its the time when autumn gets into full swing and we can really start wrapping up warm. Nothing beats getting home from work and jumping right into your pj's and throwing on a pair of oh so cosy slipper boots. I always feel that in October the countdown for Christmas officially begins, exciting right? So seeing as we have well and truly said good bye to September, I thought it was only right that I get up my September favourites for you.

Tresemme Platinum Strength Shampoo & Conditioner.
September saw me completely run out of all my shampoo, conditioner and many other products - does anyone else find that essentials always seam to run out at the same time? So I popped down to Boots as you do and picked up the Tresemme Platinum Strength shampoo & conditioner. I've heard a lot of hype around this duo in the vlogger and blogger world so I put my trust beauty babes all over and took these two products home with me. Usually it can take me a little while to decide and evaluate just how good a shampoo and conditioner really are, as they can sometimes take a little while to work their magic. However I have to say I was really impressed with this shampoo and conditioner only after a few washes. The platinum strength range is said to repair up to two years worth of hair damage in just five uses. Now whilst I do everything I possibly can to minimise damage to my hair, I find that the ends of my hair are very prone to snapping and become easily frazzled - so this sounded perfect for me. After using it for the majority of September I have to say I love this duo. My hair looks and feels a whole lot healthier and definitely feels a lot more manageable. I'm thinking of doing a full review on these two hair products, if this is something you would like to see, be sure to let me know.

Original Source Vanilla Milk & Raspberry Shower Gel
I always think Original Source get their scents spot on or drastically wrong when it comes to their products, I think it must be down to personal preference.  Having said that, I have to say I've fallen head over heels with their vanilla milk and raspberry scented shower gel, not only does it smell incredible it actually smells good enough to eat!?! I'm not sure if its a new scent to their range, but I only spotted it for the first time a little while ago and since then I've already gotten though one bottle and am now on my second. This stuff smells just like strawberries and cream or a raspberry milkshake, whichever you prefer and showering with this is just heavenly.  If you've not let your nose had a little whiff of this yet, then I urge you too - its amazing.

Maybelline Baby Lips - Cherry Me
I won't go into too much detail about the Baby Lips as I have fully reviewed it here and I'm sure you all know they hype that's been surrounded by these little lip balms. I'm a little surprised that this lip balm has made its way on to my favourites post as I wasn't blown away by it when I first purchased it. However as it has been a little on the colder side over the last few weeks, I've found that my lips have been a little on the dry side and as I result I've been reaching for this. I know it's not the best lip balm out there on the market, but I just adore its cherry scent and I love the little wash of colour that you get from using this lip balm, its very pretty once on.

Bourjous Rouge Edition Lipstick - Neon Rose
Although September has brought in the colder weather, a part of me was still holding on to summer and I really think September is that last sort of chance you get to wear all your favourite summer lippies. Last month I was making the most of a fairly new edition to my lipstick collection, which is this gorgeous bright neon pink one from Bourjois. I absolutely love the colour of this lipstick and the finish is just fantastic on. Although I am looking forward to swap my bright pinks for berry shades, I am going to miss this little one over winter. If you would like to see what it looks like on you can find my full review here.

Revlon Color Stay Foundation
When it comes to buying foundations off the high street Revlon have always been a brand of choice for me - I've been a big fan of their PhotoReady foundation for quite sometime now. However I needed to pick up a new foundation and I was in the mood to try something new. Seeing as I had always heard a lot of good things about the Color Stay foundation, I decided to pick one up. I knew that it was a foundation for oily to combination skin which is something I have so I thought it would be worth giving it ago. All I have to say is oh my God! This foundation is incredible, it has a matte finish, full coverage, makes my skin look perfect and has the most fantastic staying power. Just to give you an idea, I put this on in the morning, did a full day at work, headed straight down to the gym after to do a spin class and my foundation was still in place! And this was without any foundation top ups during the day. I was amazed that my foundation had not sweated all off whilst at the gym and I was even more impressed that my blusher and bronzer were still in place too - incredible!

So that's everything for this months favourites ladies, I would love to know what's made it on to your favourites list or if you love any of the products mentioned in this post.

Lots of Love

Bourjois Rouge Edition Lipstick - Neon Rose

I think it's fair to say that the majority of us beauty bloggers have a big weakness when it comes to lipstick- I know the sight of a pretty pink lipstick makes me go a little giddy and I have no shame in sharing with you all that I've added another one to my collection - The Bourjois Rouge Edition Lipstick in the shade Neon Rose. I am a huge fan of Bourjois products, their chocolate bronzer and lovable pots of blush being a favourite of mine, but for some unknown reason I've always bypassed their lipstick range. But on a whim in Boots the other day I decided to pretty much swatch every lippie Bourjois had to offer and came home with this little beauty.

The Rouge Edition Lipstick is a highly pigmented lipstick that has been enriched with orchid blossom extract which makes it glide on to the lips with ease and give your lips a lovely glossy finish. As soon as you apply this lipstick you feel how it gives your lips a boost of hydration which is long lasting and makes your lips feel so smooth. The finish of this lipstick reminds me of the same finish of Mac's Lustre lipsticks, which is one of my favourites, so this lipstick gets a huge thumbs up from me. Normally highly pigmented lipsticks seam to have a matte finish, but the Rouge Edition lipsticks have great pigmentation which is pretty true to the colour that you see in the tube - And because it has a moisutising and glossy look to it, it gives your lips that wet look finish, creating the illusion of much fuller and plumper lips.

I decided to pick up shade 12 Neon Rose which is this gorgeous blue toned pink that has a bubblegum look to it. As soon as I popped this on to my lips it instantly reminded me of Mac's Chatterbox, which is another favourite of mine. Mac's Chatterbox is from the Amplified collection, which means it's long lasting and has a matte finish, so its great to find something that is pretty much the same shade, but has a glossy finish to it instead which I love. If you've been lusting after Chatterbox for some time then Neon Rose is a great dupe in terms of colour.

Not only Neon Rose give your lips a gorgeous pop of colour, it also pretty long lasting, which I wasn't expecting due to the type of finish on it. I find that this lasts for a good 3 hours before it starts to fade and needs re-applying. Even when it does start to fade, it leaves more of a stain on your lips, whist still keeping your lips hydrated at the same time. I even love the packaging of this lipstick, the sleek black casing gives it an expensive feel and I love how you can see the product at the bottom, which makes it easy to find in your makeup bag.

Overall I'm really impressed with the Rouge Edition lipstick from Bourjois and with them having 18 different shades on offer I plan on adding a few more to my collection. I currently have my eye on 'Pretty Prune' a deep berry red (perfect for winter) and 'Orange Pop Up' a lovely coral orange shade. I picked mine up from Boots for £7.99.

Have you tried any of the Rouge Edition Lipsticks? What shades are you loving?

Lots of Love
