It's pretty embarrassing when you're 27 and still have the odd trouble with spots. During those younger years I was always fighting a loosing battle with my spots and I thought it would be something that I would grow out of. How wrong I was. Don't get me wrong my skin is nothing like it was in my teens, but it's still frustrating when you get a nasty spot. Even just one can feel like it's taking over your entire face which can make me feel a little down. We've all been there and I know you know exactly what I mean. Which is why I want to share with you all my little secret weapon which has been keeping my skin spot free for the last few months.

For the longest of time my mum has been getting on at me to stop using my expensive and luxurious cleansers and switch to Johnson's Baby Soap with Honey and for the longest of time I was adamant that it wouldn't really be beneficial for my skin. When I was at my mums a little while ago I was suffering with a terrible spot day and she told me to wash my face with the Jonson's soap right away and since then I've not really used anything else.

I'm not sure how this baby soap works its wonders, but it seems to agree with my skin and any spots that I do have quickly fade away after using this. It's so good I've even nicknamed it my magic soap. I still use my micellar waters to get rid of the majority of my makeup before using this, but I find this soap even gets helps to get rid of those panda eyes or anything that I might have missed.

Other than keeping my skin lovely fresh and clear, I find this soap so gentle to use, probably because it's been designed for babies. One thing that always put me off with bars of soap is that super squeaky feeling on your skin afterwards, it always makes my skin feel incredibly dry. But I honestly don't get that too much with this soap. My skin definitely needs a good moisturise afterwards, but it certainly doesn't make my skin feel uncomfortable. It's almost like the soap dries out my spots there and then which is such a satisfying feeling.

I know this might not be a magic soap for everyone, but if your skin is suffering its well worth picking one up and giving it ago. What's even better is that you can pick up a pack of four for only a pound, so trying it won't break the bank and if it does work then it's the cheapest cleanser you'll ever buy. I've also been using one of my spare bars to clean my makeup brushes and the results are really good, this really is my magic soap.

Let me know if you're a fan of a baby products or if you've found any more good uses for the Johnson's baby soap? I hope this helps.

Lots of Love

  3. Fab post hun, I hate that I still struggle with flair ups on my skin. This soap sounds amazing and I’m definitely tempted to give it ago as like you said it doesn’t break the bank :)
