The Best Brightening Makeup From GOSH Copenhagen

The Best Brightening Makeup From GOSH Copenhagen

I love trying out new makeup bits and recently I've been trying a few things from GOSH. When I first started blogging it felt like the whole blogging community was obsessed with this brand, but fast forward a few years later I don't think they get mentioned enough. Whenever I go into Superdrug I was love browsing the GOSH counter and this summer my two go to lipsticks have been the GOSH Liquid Matte lipsticks, they're amazing if you've not yet tried them! This season GOSH have added a few new lines to their makeup collection and I thought I'd share with you some of my favourites.

GOSH Prime 'N Set Banana Powder; I've always loved a banana powder, especially for setting any of my under eye makeup. The bright yellow shades of banana powders may look a little scary, but trust me they work! As soon as I pop a banana powder under my eyes, my makeup not only sets, but my eyes instantly look brighter and more awake. So I was pretty excited to try the new banana powder from GOSH. This powder is a two in one product and can be used to set makeup or used on its own, or applied before foundation for a completely flawless look. I personally love using it to set my makeup because it makes my skin look so smooth. I know you're not meant to touch your face after applying makeup, but my skin feels so soft whenever I've used this powder. Because this banana powder is loose, it also means that its great for baking and whenever I have a bit more time to do my makeup in the mornings, I'll pack on this powder and leave it whilst I finish off the rest of my makeup; The longer its left on, the longer it bakes and the more flawless the effect this powder gives. I usually try and do this with my under eyes and I find it's the only way to make my eyes look really awake and bright.  Right now this is my go too powder and I'm obsessed with it.

GOSH Lumi Drops in Gold; These little drops of highlight have actually been in the GOSH range for some time, but this season they've added two new shades, the Gold and Rose Gold shade. I've been trying out the gold shade and it's so pretty. I'm a big fan of liquid highlighters and use them along side my powdered ones as its the best way to make your highlighter really pop. Once I've applied all the liquid products on my face, like foundation and concealer, I'll place a few drops of the Lumi Drops on to my stippling brush and use a dabbing motion to apply these directly onto my top cheekbones. The colour can be pretty intense, so I advise only using the smallest amount of product to get the best effect. After a little bit of blending, my skin is really glowing. You could use this as a stand alone highlighter for a lovely natural glow, but I love going in with my favourite gold toned highlighters, which I put directly on top for maximum effect. The double highlighter look is perfect for nights out and also really helps make your highlighter stand out when taking selfies!

GOSH Lift & Highlight Pencil 001 Nude; Don't you just love it when you find a product that lets you get super precise with your highlighter? I'm one of these people who has to try and do my makeup in a matter of minutes in the morning because I'm running around crazy after my toddler. I love contouring and highlighting, but it's practically impossible to do it, I just don't have the time, which is probably why I love the Lift & Highlight pencil so much! This little beauty really helps me in the morning with my highlighting and it's so easy to use and is really precise. The pencil is double ended; One side you have a matte low light, which I love using down the centre of my nose and on my cheeks. And on the other end you have a really shimmery highlight which is perfect for the inner corners of my eyes and for under my brow bone. I love easy and precise this pencil is to use, its fuss free and is great for anyone who is constantly rushing around in the morning, but still wants a full face of makeup. Both sides of the pencil have such a good colour pay out and are really easy to blend. The only downside to this product is that it needs sharpening quite a bit, but this is down to the products being really soft and creamy, which is a lot better than having a product that drags along my skin - So I can live with the sharpening.

All three of these products have become such a staple in my makeup bag over the last few weeks, but out of the three the one that is my favourite has to be the Prime 'N Set Banana Powder, I'm obsessed with it. Superdrug currently have 3 for 2 on all their GOSH products, so now is the perfect time to brighten up your makeup, I've left the link to all of the products or you can check the Superdrug website here to see the whole range of GOSH products

Let me know which of these products you like the look of the most? Or if you've tried anything else from GOSH?
