July Favourites

The beginning of a new month can only mean one thing, another monthly favourites post. I can't quite believe how fast the days, weeks and months seem to be passing by us this year. It's even more crazy to think that even though the sun has been shining I am already starting to plan my winter wardrobe and already have an eye on what will soon be my winter coat. Although Autumn will slowly be creeping upon us, I intend to enjoy every last bit of sunshine, especially with the glorious weather we've been having lately. The gorgeous weather has really influenced what sort of products that have made it onto my monthly favourites post and here's why....

Vaseline Essential Moisture Cocoa Radiant
I'm sure your all aware by now that I go a little bit crazy when it comes to body butters and moisturisers .. Seriously no joke I am like a mad woman and tend to apply my favourite ones once or twice everyday. Cocoa Butter formulas are always a favourite of mine when it comes to choosing a moisturiser and this month I have been loving this Essential Moisture one from Vaseline. The scent of this moisturiser is just amazing and I love how rich creamy and rich it feels. For a cocoa butter its not that thick in terms of texture, but it does an amazing job at hydrating your skin. The body lotion really sinks quickly into your skin and doesn't leave you feeling all sticky afterwards, which makes it perfect for my morning moisturise application. All the hot weather has left my skin feeling a bit dryer than usual and this has been my go to moisturiser throughout the month of July.

Moroccan Oil*
I have fallen in love with this hair oil in such a short space of time and think it's simply wonderful. My hair has been in a right sorry state over the last few months, but Moroccan Oil has brought some life back into my hair. Moroccan Oil has really done wonders at conditioning my hair and making it feel ever so soft. I only got my review up of this yesterday (here) so I won't say too much, other than it's amazing and I love it.

Bourjois Bronzing Primer
The Bronzing Primer from Bourjois is a fairly new purchase of mine, but I have used it everyday without fail since it made its way into my makeup bag and it's just one of those products that are perfect for summer. I love how easy the application of this bronzing primer is and the finish and the colour are fantastic. I've been using this underneath my foundation for a warm summer glow kinda look and have been using it to contour. This primer helps keep the rest of my makeup stay in place and evens out my skin completely  I can't recommend it enough. If you would like to know more about this bronzer you can read my review here.

Urban Decay Big Buddha Brush
I bought this massive brush from Urban Decay quite a few years ago now and it only seams to get any real use around the summer months as its a little big to use as part of your everyday makeup routine. As its been so hot, I really have been keeping my makeup to a minimum and this Big Buddha Brush is perfect to use to dust your face quickly and effortlessly with a powder or bronzer, giving your face a light flush of colour. I also love using this brush for dusting bronzer or highlighter over my shoulders and around my neck line, which is something that I always do in the summer as these parts of my body are always on display. The bristles on this brush are ever so soft and the large flat bottom handle makes this so easy to use... I love it and is a brush that every makeup lover should have in their brush collection.

Mac Loverlorn & Chatterbox Lipstick
When it comes to lipstick, these two from Mac are all I've been wearing recently. I tend to alternate between the two, depending on what I feel for that particular day. Both of these lipsticks are pretty pinks and are perfect shades for summer. Lovelorn is one of Mac's Lustre formulas and it's incredibly creamy and moisturising once applied. I love the shade of this lipstick, its a soft pink colour with subtle cool tones to it. As it has Lustre formula it does have a fairly sheer finish to it, but it can easily be built up for a more vibrant pop of colour. I love how shiny this looks on too and whenever I wear it I always feel very girly. Chatterbox on the other hand is one of Mac's Amplified formulas and a much brighter pink - I love wearing this on my lips as its such a warm but bright pink and is ever so wearable. As it's an 'amplified' lipstick its really pigmented and lasts for hours after its initial application. If you would like to see a full review with swatches you can see my post here. I think these two have to be my most loved lipsticks from Mac and as you can see from the pictures, have nearly been used up, especially Lovelorn - If any of you are wanting to see what it looks like on please let me know as I'll get a post with swatches up for you before I use it all up.

So that's everything for my monthly favourites, I would love to know what you've been loving this month - Just let me know in the comments below.
