Sleek Blush By 3 Palette - Lace || Review

Swatches Left to Right: Crochet || Guipure || Chantilly

Spring might not be here just let, but it is just around the corner and now Janurary is out of the way I start to get that little bit excited about ditching my winter berry shades and swapping them for pretty pinks and warm coral tones. I was having a little browse though my makeup collection and dug out my Sleek Blush By 3 Palette in Lace which contains some of my most favourite blushers of all time. Being a lover of blushers, this blush palette holds a special place in my heart and I absolutely cannot wait to start wearing these gorgeous colours once again. It occurred to me that I've never featured this well loved palette on my blog and thought it deserved a spot and hopefully will help get you ladies in the mood to ditch your winter makeup.

As a lot of you know I have a lot of love for Sleek blushers as they are by far some of the best blushers that I've ever tried. The pigmentation is outstandingly amazing and you only need the lightest of hand and a good brush for blending to give your cheeks a gorgeous flush of colour. Not only is the quality of these blushers next to none but they have a good wear and I rarely need to re apply blush during the day when I wear a Sleek blusher.

This Blush By 3 Palette in Lace has three beautiful blushers that are perfect to take you into Spring, yes I know they are a little bright (most Sleek blushers are) but they look stunning once applied. My first choice and the shade that I always gravitate towards the most has to be shade on the right 'Chantilly', its a warm coral shade that leans slightly more on the red side - Once on though it gives your cheeks a warm rosy glow. I love how it instantly warms up your face and this is such a great blush for evening time. Equally I love using 'Guipure' the pink shimmery shade which sits right in the middle of the palette. This shade is very similar to Sleeks 'Rose Gold' Blush except I find it leans more on the pink side. This blush is so gorgeous once on as it has a lovely golden shimmer running though it which does an amazing job at highlighting those cheek bones. The other shade in the palette is the bright coral/orange coloured one on the left 'Crochet' and this was the shade I was a little bit worried about wearing when I first bought this palette. When it comes to blusher I love my pinks and I really didn't know how this shade would work with my skin tone. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised at how well this shade works, especially when your tanned and is actually quite subtle once blended in. This is a perfect daytime shade and when Spring is in full swing I know I'll be reaching for this shade an awful lot.

Overall I love this Sleek Palette and seeing as it's only £9.99 for three amazing blushers that will last you forever, I think its well worth the money. I also love the packaging and the fact that the palette has a huge mirror inside which is perfect for on the go.

I've contemplated picking up some of the over Sleek blush palettes but on first glances I don't think they look as good as the 'Lace' palette - If you've tried and tested any of them I would love to know your thoughts ladies and how well they compared to the Lace palette, be sure to let me know in the comments below.

Lots of Love

  7. Haven't tried any of Sleek's blushes yet since I always forget to buy them. Love the looks of this palette, even though Crochet probably wouldn't be as loved as the other two shades :) x
