As a whole I really love Lancome, it's a brand that I've always gravitated towards and I always get excited when theres a new release. I really love the way Lancome are marketing their new products right now and theres been such a buzz on social media about their new Energie de Vie Liquid Moisturiser. Never one to miss out on a hyped up product, I was really excited when an interesting parcel arrived through my door the other week containing 7 vials of the new moisturiser. I actually couldn't wait to try it out and was so thankful that Lancome have given me 7 days worth of their liquid energy; Being a new mum means that my skin desperately needs all the help it can get to looking bright and awake.
One thing that really intrigued me about this moisturiser is that it looks and feels just like a serum. I don't usually get on with serums as I just prefer a rich and hydrating moisturiser; I really had no idea how this would work on my skin. Even though it looks like a serum its definitely a moisturiser and you replace it with your moisturiser in your everyday routine. The Energie de Vie is enriched with Goji Berry extract and lemon balm oil which is its secret to making your skin looking so energised and hydrated. So the big question is does it work?
As I've only had enough product to get me through one week, I can't possibly get the full benefit from this moisturiser. But as far as first impressions go, I have to say I'm really impressed. The one thing that I look for in a moisturiser besides its obvious benefits to my skin, is that I want it to give me the confidence I need to feel good in my natural skin. What I mean by this, is that with a good moisturiser your skin look so great you don't need to wear any makeup for your skin to look good. I rarely have time to apply a full face of makeup these days, so I really rely on a good moisturiser to make my skin look good.
I can honestly say that the Energie de Vie Liquid Moisturiser gave my skin that energising boost that it so desperately needed. As soon as I worked this into my skin, I noticed that instant glow that you get when you use a really good moisturiser. Although this moisturiser doesn't feel rich or creamy because of its water like constancy, it really works into my skin lovely and my skin did feel hydrated using this. In just one week I really noticed a difference that it made to my under eye area; this is the one area of my skin that is really suffering right now and I feel that within a week I didn't look as tired and that wasn't because I was getting more sleep.
I would love to try a full sized bottle of this moisturiser to see its long term benefits. I really enjoyed using it over the period of a week and my skin did feel noticeably softer which is a huge perk. I would say if you're thinking about trying this then definitely go for it, I don't think you would be disappointed. I think it's a really great release from Lancome.
Have you tried the Energie De Vie liquid moisturiser yet? What are your thoughts?
