Hi beauty babes, and a big fat hello to the month of March (where on earth has the time gone?) If you've been following my blog for some time you will know that very rarely do I get a monthly favourites post up, why I have no idea as I love reading them on other blogs - But I'm going to try and make them more of a regular thing on Miss Sunshine & Sparkle just because they make for a great read and if your a nosey one like me, then will love knowing what my most reached out for beauty items are.
In February, I've found some new beauty gems which I can see becoming staple items in my beauty routine, whilst rediscovered and rekindled my love with some old favourites.
Hask Argan Oil
I purchased this hair oil in Primark a few weeks ago for a bargain £2.50 and not only is it amazing value for money, but the oil has been working wonders in my hair. I've been using this almost everyday and it feels as though the more I use this product the more I love it. As each day passes I'm noticing more benefits from using this hair oil and the condition of my hair is improving dramatically. If you would like to read a full in depth review of the Hask Aragn Oil you can read it here.
L'Oreal Volume Million Lashes
This mascara from L'oreal has become my new holy grail mascara. I love how the Million Lashes gives you lashes that have bundles of volume and the wand is perfect for separating and fanning out your lashes. If your still not convinced you can take a peek of my review and close up pictures of what this mascara looks like on here.
TRESemme Firm Hold Hairspray (mini)
When it comes to hairspray I'm not that much of a fuss pot, usually only buying whats on offer! This firm hold one from TRESemme does the job quite nicely, but what I have been really loving is having a miniature bottle of hairspray to carry around in my bag all the time. When I was at uni, I forever had a little can of hairspray popped into my bag - But last year I seamed to always carry around with me a BIG bag, so just opted for a standard size hairspray to fit in my bag. Well this month my chosen bag is a lot smaller which means a smaller can of hairspray is needed. I have to say I've forgotten how much I love miniature things and the smell of this TRESemme one is just delightful!
Topshop Rio Rio Lipstick
It may have had something to do with Valentines day but this month I have been loving red and not just any red either - I'm in love with this gorgeous in-between shade of red and orange and if your wanting this colour on your lips then Topshop Rio Rio lipstick is perfect . I love the pigmentation of this lipstick and the formula is fabulous. I think I've probably worn it most days throughout the whole of February. You can find my review and swatches here.
Models Own Coral Reef
Not only have I been loving wearing a bold red lip, I have also loved painting my nails to match - Does anyone else get excited about this or is it just me? Coral Reef is the most gorgeous colour and matches Rio Rio wonderfully. If you would like to see it in all its glory you can see it shown off in a NOTD post here.
And as for random favourites, I have been loving Taylor Swift - I knew you were trouble. I've never been a big Taylor Swift fan, but I can not get this song out of my head and I've been having it play on repeat most days.
So that's it for all of my favourites this month. Let me know if you have tried any of these products and what your thoughts on them are, I would love to know.
