If theres one thing I'm a sucker for (other than the odd lipstick or two) is an eye shadow palette. Honestly my collection is gradually becoming bigger and If you were to ask me seriously I'd tell you I still don't have enough! I think the best way to buy eyeshadow is definitely in a palette form rather than individual ones and I personally think its great when you can get a palette with all your favourite shades included. When it comes to eye makeup I really like to stick with natural shades and prefer rich toned browns and warm nudes - Actually throw in a few glittery golds and you essentially have an eyeshadow palette that would work perfectly for me everyday. The reason I'm telling you this is because Freedom Makeup have released a new eyeshadow palette which I think is pretty perfect for me and if you love the same shades as I do, then I know your going to love this just as much.
The palette in question has to be the new Pro Artist Pad - Black Arts and as you can see from the pictures it's pretty amazing. Usually eyeshadow palettes contain around 12-15 different shades, however with the Pro Artist Pad you get 48 different shadows which gives me so much versatility. I love that with just one palette I can create so many looks that will take me from day to evening. Not only does the Pro Artist Pad contain my favourite shades that I love to use, but theres also a good mixture of mattes, satins and shimmers. Theres even some really pretty and super gorgeous metallic shades too which are just as pigmented as the matte shadows which I was not expecting.
I'm just so blown away with how many shadows there are to choose from and all the shades I've tried so far are really good quality. They're super easy to blend, really pigmented and theres not too much fall out either. I think this will be a really ideal travel palette, especially for holidays and trips away as you're literally prepared for anything with this. The palette is fairly big (It's like the size of my iPad and kind of looks like one too from the outside), but its pretty thin and compact at the same time and would easily fit into a suitcase or large bag. The only small gripe I have with it overall has to be the packaging; Don't get me wrong the style is great and spot on, but the quality to be honest is not so great which is a shame, it does feel a little cheap. In this case its whats inside that really counts.
If your just getting into makeup or are just like me and love to collect makeup then I'd really recommend picking this palette up. You can buy it for £15.00 directly from the Freedom website here or find it in your local Superdrug.
Let me know what your thoughts are on this palette, are you going to add it to your collection?
This looks amazing for the price. The colour selection looks good too :)
ReplyDeleteI love Freedom makeup - quality without the major price tag.
