OGX Renewing Argan Oil of Morocco Shampoo & Conditioner | Results and Review

OGX Renewing Argan Oil of Morocco Shampoo & Conditioner

Most of you will know now that my hair is thin, long and most of the time has a mind of its own. Because my hair is so long, I tend to suffer with dryness, especially at the very tips. With me its a case of, I'll keep straightening my hair to make it feel smooth again, only for it to feel ten times worse when I next wash it. To my surprise during pregnancy, my hair actually felt like it was in amazing condition - I'm talking smooth silky locks here. However as soon as Archie was born my hair just took a complete turn for the worse and it just feels constantly dry. My hair has honestly never been in such a sorry state. Over the past few weeks I've put a lot of my favourite hair products to the test to try and put some much needed moisture into my hair and the majority of them have failed me, except my beloved Moroccan Oil (my holy grail hair product right there). So I decided to branch out and try something a little different.

As I was doing my weekly shopping online I decided to browse the haircare section and saw that the OGX Renewing Argan Oil of Morocco Shampoo and Conditioner where on offer and thought that this might just be the trick to help my hair feeling a little bit smoother and healthier. I'm already such a fan or hair oils, especially Argan Oil but have never tried a shampoo or conditioner that has been infused with it before. Needless to say this OGX duo quickly ended up in my shopping basket. I've been trying them out for a few weeks now and I'm happy to report back that my hair is in a much better condition; They really seemed to have made a difference, so I just had to share with you guys.

As far as packaging goes OGX have kept it pretty simple, but I actually really like its simplicity. I love the turquoise blue, combined with the gold detailing, it looks great in my bathroom. For me it the bottles have an expensive look to them and makes me feel like I'm indulging into to some hidden hair secrets every time I use it (and I am).

As for the actual products, I really love them. The shampoo and conditioner both have the same scent; It's a really delicious coconut smell, combined with the scent of Moroccan Oil, unless you've used this or opened the cap up whilst shopping for an all important smell test, you'll have to take my word for it that it's really yummy. Its also one of those scents that really transfers on to your hair, which is always a huge bonus. The shampoo also really lathers up beautifully, which again its important for me in a shampoo; I like to make sure my hair feels really clean. As for the conditioner, I think its the best bit; It feels really thick and I can literally feel my hair soak it up once its on and my hair just feels amazing. I like to leave the conditioner on for five minutes to allow it to really work its magic.

As for renewing and restoring my hair, I'm seeing such a difference. The most noticeable difference is in the softness of my hair, it feels so lovely and doesn't seem to feel as dry. I'm also finding that my hair goes more days without it feeling frizzy. My hair is a long way off from feeling perfect, but I know that thats down to it needing a really good hair cut, but this shampoo and conditioner has made such a difference and has repaired my hair a lot. I think its just down to the Argan Oil, it really is a miracle product for hair and my hair is just soaking it all up.

Trust me when your hairs been having a bad time, like mine has. Hair oils are the way to go and I am just loving using a shampoo and conditioner that Argan oil infused in it. I would really recommend giving these ago, if your having too many bad hair days.

Are you a fan or Argan Oil? Have you tried this shampoo and conditioner?
