As most of you will know by now, I wear false lashes pretty much everyday. Well any day that I wear makeup anyway. I know that they can be a bit of a faff sometimes, but I've applied them so much that its almost become second nature; it's no different to putting on mascara or applying foundation, its just another step in my makeup routine. Honestly I think it's a bit of an addiction, but my eyes just don't look right without them now, I used to have the same thoughts about my brows and now I wouldn't dream of leaving the house without filling them in. When it comes to false lashes I have my trusty faves, those mainly being any lashes from Girls With Attitude, but I felt like mixing things up a little and trying out some other brands. I was contacted from the lovely team at False Eyelashes #WeLoveLashes and was able to try some of their Eylure lashes.
Now Eylure is the brand that started off my addiction for lashes many years ago, but as I'm always eager to try out new brands its been a long time since I've used any. So much so that I had forgotten how much I loved Eylure lashes. They have so many different ones since I last used them and Eylure have definitely upped their game when it comes to packaging. I love the design of the boxes, they have a nice chunky feel to them and the white background is really eye catching. For me packaging always play such a big part when it comes to buying anything beauty related and Eylure have gotten it spot on.
I've been playing around with two different sets of lashes from Eylure. For those who are new to this brand, Eylure split their lashes into different categories depending on what look you want to go for; looks ranging from lengthening, volume or lashes to add a little drama, they have them all. One of the packs that I've been loving is from their texture range. When it comes to lashes I love ones that add more definition to my lashes and textured lashes that are overlapped and whispy are some of my favourites. The 117 Textured lashes are long, angled towards the outer ends and have a slight whispy finish to them. One of the reasons I love this style so much is that it gives my eyes more of a cat eye shape, which is a look that really makes my eyes pop, especially when I'm going for a more dramatic eye look. I love how lightweight these ones are and I don't think they're too over the top or dramatic so wearing them in the daytime is perfect. These ones also have a really nice shape to them which makes them super easy to apply. I had no problems whatsoever and popping them on took less than a few minutes.
The other set of lashes that I've been trying from Eylure are the lashes by Cheryl. I'm actually so excited about these lashes as I was a big fan of the Cheryl lashes back when Eylure has the Girls Aloud collection out (who remembers those?). I always went for the Cheryl ones as they just looked the best on. The newest Cheryl lashes are named 'Sexy SeƱorita' and are the perfect set of lashes for lengthening. There are two reasons why I choose lashes that have a lengthening effect, the first is one is an obvious one as I love having lashes that look a lot longer than my own. The second is that lengthening lashes are generally a lot more suitable for everyday and have a much more natural look to them. I wore these ones over the weekend and got a few compliments at how lovely my lashes looked, someone even asked if they were extensions as they are really natural looking. These are also so comfortable to wear and thought the day I don't even feel like I'm wearing lashes.
I'm so pleased to have some Eylure lashes back in my collection and being the lash addicted that I am I'm already eyeing up some new ones to try. With December being the month of parties and celebrations, you should definitely get yourselves some new lashes to complete your makeup looks. #WeLoveLashes have over 1000 different pairs to choose from and so many different brands so theres something for everyone. I'll leave their link here for you, so make sure you check them out. I promise you you'll be in eyelash heaven!
