Hello 2012

Hello Gorgeous Girlies (and guys if you read this) Hope you all had a fantastic evening last night and celebrated the new year with a bang. I can't believe that it has reached that time again. 2011 fells as if it were over in a flash although when looking back there have been some good times. 

I thought seeing as it was a new year, it was time for a little layout change on my blog. I wanted a clean fresh look to start the year off, hope you all like it. 

I am not sure why I have this feeling but I do have high hopes for 2012 and feel that it's going to be a good year. I am not one for making new years resolution's. Its either something that I've never done or not taken too seriously, but over the last week there have been clear things in my mind that I would like to achieve in the new year and I thought it would be great to share with you guys. I find that if I am writing them down and letting others in on my hopes and wishes then it makes the whole thing seam more official and I can always take myself back to this page to remind myself what I set out to achieve. 

1. To have a good job. I do love what I do and I know that I am very fortunate to be working when so many others are looking for work. But I finished uni two years ago and I feel its time to kick start a career now. 
2. I would love to see my family more. My immediate family is all over the U.K and I would like to have more time to see them all. 
3. Learn how to drive. This one is a biggie for me as I've had lessons in the past and I was terrible at it. But  I need to be on wheels now haha.
4. Take my make-up off every night before I sleep
5. To grow and develop as a beauty blogger and to get to know a lot more of you
6. To do a 'nail of the day' post most times when I paint my nails a new colour
7. Get back into baking especially as I received my new pipping bag for Christmas 
8. To start writing more scrips for theatre and to start putting more of my ideas into writing so I can get round to writing a book (this one will be ongoing but I need to make a start)
9. I would like to be able to stand up for myself a bit more 

My only wish this year is for those around me to have a happy and healthy year and the same for all you lovely beauty babes. The new year brings a new chapter and with the right mind set we can all get some or most of the things we set out to achieve. I hope that everyone has a fabulous year and I really hope that I can get to know all my followers a lot more
