I always think that makeup brushes are the must have accessory to any makeup you have and I personally think the more you have the better; and thats not because it gets me out cleaning my brushes a little bit longer! When I first got into makeup and first started blogging, makeup brushes where pretty basic. I don't basic as in the quality, but most of the time they would just be your box standard brushes, you know with a black handle and black bristles. It seems recently a lot of brands have taken makeup brushes to the next level and they're now available in all sorts of colours. Seriously I am obsessed, I even have a Pinterest board dedicated to pretty makeup brushes (here). As a lot of you know I love Girls With Attitude, its my favourite place to go for lashes and recently they have added some amazing makeup brushes to their range. These brushes get me so excited as they have mermaid vibes all over them, and you all know how much I love anything to do with mermaids. These brushes are by far my favourite in my collection and I know you guys are going to love them just as much as me.
Girls With Attitude have 17 different brushes to choose from in their Fairytale collection and I love that there is the option to purchase each brush individually or buy all of them as a collective set. I have ten from the collection and I love each and everyone. If truth be told, its taken me a little while to use them, because I actually think there too pretty to use. I've taken my fair share of pictures before using these brushes as they are just so Instagramable, if you know what I mean! I am obsessed with how each brush looks, the purple ombre bristles and the rose gold detailing are just beautiful; Like I said the look of these brushes alone is enough to justify why you need them in your collection.
I think we can all agree that the look of these brushes are breath taking, but are they as good as they look? The answer to this is a big fat YES; they are so good, so much so I thought I'd give you a little break down of each brush that I've picked up.
This is one of my favourite brushes in the collection just because I love these larger brushes for blending out any hash lines when I'm contouring or for an all over dust with my bronzer or powder. The bristles are just perfect on this brush, they're so soft and pick up just the right amount of product. Its large bristles means the job gets done super quick, so its great for those early mornings!
These are my favourite type of brushes when it comes to blending in my foundation for that airbrushed look. I love how dense the bristles are on this brush as it really helps to distribute the foundation evenly on my skin for a flawless finish.
I've never used an angled blush brush until now, but I find the slight angle on this brush makes applying my blush feel a little more precise and I'm able to have a little more control over where I want the product to go. I don't really use cream blush, but I feel that this brush would be perfect for blending any cream or liquid blush you might have flawlessly.
This foundation brush works beautifully for blending in my foundation, I especially like it to get into those corners around my face as it has a lovely tapered tip. I love how this brush gives me a really nice and even coverage and its perfect for those days where I'm wanting to spend a little more time on my makeup.
I love using my concealer brush to help me hide any unwanted under eye circles and this brush features a flat brush head which really helps to cover those imperfections. I also love using it to help add some definition to my lips and to help tidy up my lipstick; It's a great tool to help me achieve my Kylie Jenner pout.
I'm all about having good brow game and this brush is the perfect accessory which helps makes my brows look great to fab! It's so important to highlight my brow bone for a super defined brow and this brush is amazing for the job. Honestly I don't have any brush similar to this in my collection and I'm obsessed with it.
This eye shader brush is perfect for applying any eyeshadow straight onto or all over my lids. It's quite large so it packs on just the right amount of shadow in one go which is perfect. It's also quite fluffy so its great for blending the shadow out and helps me to avoid any harsh lines. This really is such a lovely brush to use and an essential if your like me and love your eyeshadows.
I'm all about getting the perfect pout so when I have the time I love to use my lip brush to really enhance my lips and make them the focus point. This lip brush is amazing for applying my fave lippies, especially the brighter and bolder shades. I find that I can line my lips to perfection with this brush as its the perfect size and its tapered end makes application faultless.
This is the only brush in that I have in this collection that I actually haven't tried out yet as I only use the wands provided in my liquid eyeliners. If you're a gel liner kinda gal then this brush would be a great addition to your makeup brush collection. The brush is super fine and I love that its quite long as it would make those perfect flicks easy to achieve. When I get round to purchasing some gel liner I'll definitely come back and update you all how I got on with this brush.
I love to apply eyeshadow underneath my lower lash line, it's a must have for any smokey eye and sometimes I do it as I find it a lot less harsh than eyeliner. This detailer brush is just perfect for doing the job as its just the right size and has quite a firm tip which means precision and I have a lot more control over where the product goes which I love. I also love using this brush to add a little bit of highlight to the inner corners of my eye, as you guys know you can't beat a bit of glow!
So there we have it, as you can see I am obsessed with these brushes; I actually love them so much! There's nothing quite like playing around with new makeup brushes right? You can pick all of these up from the Girls With Attitude website here, I honestly can't recommend them enough!
What do you think of these brushes? Are you planning on adding any to your makeup collection?
