The Best Lush Bath Bomb for Busy Hardworking Mums
Like most people out there I'm a huge fan of Lush! Actually I'm yet to meet anyone who doesn't like the brand - Lets face it, who doesn't love a company that not only make products that look and smell incredible but who also make the best bath products ever! I've loved Lush since my very early teens, before Lush even became a huge global brand. My aunt lives in Poole, which is the birthplace of Lush so whenever my sister and I used to stay there during the summer holidays, she would always take us to the Lush shop and treat us to a few bath time treats. One of my favourite products back then where the bath bombs and they are probably still my favourite things to buy from Lush almost twenty years later. Picking your favourite product from Lush is just as hard as choosing a favourite family member, so much so that I don't think I've ever tried a product from Lush that I didn't like or fall in love with. I'm always buying things from Lush, so I want to start sharing more of my favourite products from the brand. I thought the perfect way of doing this would be to start up a little mini series where I choose favourite products for all my different needs and today I thought I'd share my favourite bath bomb for us busy hard working mums.... Which of course is Twilight.

Lush Intergalactic Bath Bomb || My New Favourite
I love baths! Yes thats right, any time of year I love a soak in the bath, especially after work as I find it's some well deserved down time. Perfect to de-stress and unwind. Now autumn is here and the temperature has dropped, I'm loving my tub even more. On those occasions where I'm feeling a little more indulgent, I pop down to my local Lush store and pick up a bath bomb or bubble bar. For me a Lush bath is the ultimate bath. Not only do bath bombs make baths a little more exciting, I just love the whole feeling of my bath even more. If you're a Lush fan yourself, you'll know exactly what I'm talking about.
For a little while now I've been wanting to try the Intergalactic bath bomb, I think this started off as a London Oxford Street store exclusive, but slowly made its way to all the other Lush shops. So when I saw it in my store I just knew that I had to pick it up. I used this last night and have to say this is my new favourite bath bomb from Lush, its spectacular.
Intergalactic has everything you want and need from a bath bomb; It smells fabulous, it turns your bath into the most gorgeous deep space blue and the best bit is that it's filled with sparkle, shimmer and glitter. My bath literally looked liked a galaxy and all the glitter made it look like there was stars floating around my bath, it was so pretty.
I loved my bath so much so that I was a bit sad to pull the plug on the whole thing. And this was after laying in there until the water was pretty much cold. I know for sure that I will be picking this bath bomb up again, it was so good.
The only gripe I have with it, is that it is one of Lush's more expensive bath bombs costing £3.95. And as you only get one use out of it making it a bit of a pricey bath. But having said this, I loved every minute of my bath, so you have to look at it as a bit of a special treat. You can pick up Intergalactic from the Lush website, just incase they don't have it in your store yet.
Let me know what's your favourite bath bomb from Lush is? Have you tried Intergalactic yet?

Super Soft Skin With The King of Skin | Lush Review
I've always been a big fan of Lush right from the get go. When I was young my sister and I used to venture into their first shop in Poole whenever visiting my aunt and it was only around these visits that we would get excited about some bath time fun with the use of a bath bomb. Since those early days, Lush have grown and I'm so pleased I don't have to go very far to stock up on my favourite products. The other week I received an email from Lush that got me even more excited about the brand as they are now celebrating 20 years WOW. Not only that my local store was celebrating 10 year anniversary in our town and I was invited to join in with the birthday celebrations! Thanks Lush.
Without going into too much detail about the party (I have another post on that coming up), I wanted to take the opportunity to stock up on some of my most favourite Lush products and I thought it would be great to try out some new things too. When I was walking around the store, I saw a nice little stash of King of Skin and knew immediately that I needed to take one home with me. I think I must be the only Lush fan not to have tried this raved about product, so I popped one straight into my basket! I know that King of Skin is a favourite of Tanya Burr's, so I've been meaning to try it for ages. In case you don't know King of Skin is a moisturising bar that you can use on wet skin in the shower.
For those of you who have been reading my blog for sometime will know that when it comes to moisturiser, I am a woman obsessed; I love the stuff, so I'm always on the hunt for new ones to try. However there is nothing worse than getting out the shower during the colder months as its so cold. I often find myself skipping moisturiser just so I can put some clothes back on. So I thought King of Skin would save me from this morning nightmare as its a bar that you can use whilst in the shower! How perfect is that? All I have to do is rub the bar over my skin, gently rinse it off and my skin is left so soft, its as simple as that.
You’re probably wondering how or why this bar works and to be honest I have no idea about the science behind it. I just know that it contains amazing ingredients such as avocado, banana, oat milk and cocoa butters which are perfect for softening skin. I’ve been using this bar for two weeks now and I have to say I’m really impressed, my arms and legs especially feel so soft to the touch. I also really like the way that this bar domes’t leave my skin feeling sticky afterwards. I’m literally ready to dry off and get dressed as soon as I’m out the shower, which is perfect for those cold mornings or if your like me and a girl on the go.
I always thought I would like King of Skin but in the short space of time its become a new favourite. I would really recommend giving this ago if your after something new to try and want to nourish and hydrate your skin in speedy record time; It’s worked for me. Here’s the link to have a closer look at King of Skin and all its ingredients.
Question for you… What’s your favourite moisturiser or body butter right now? Let me know in the comments below.

Brightside || Lush Bubble Bar Review
Lush Brightside Bubble Bar £4.75
When it comes to bath time I honestly believe that no one does it better than Lush and whenever I'm looking to give myself a lovely hot soak and pamper evening you can guarantee that I'll find myself popping into my local Lush store on my break time and picking up some bath time goodies. On my most recent trip I decided to pick up the 'Brightside' Bubble Bar - For some reason I had never picked on up, although I've always heard so many amazing things about it from other bloggers.
What I really love about the Lush Bubble Bars has to be that they give your bath millions of bubbles, even when you only crumble a small amount of the bar into the water, it really is heaven in a tub. I don't know why it took forever for me to try 'Brightside' as I'm pretty sure if I was describe myself as one of Lush's Bubble Bars "Brightside' would definitely be me! (I can't believe I just compared myself to bubble bath?)
First of all how amazing does 'Brightside' look? The colours are just gorgeous and I love the brightness of it all, it reminds me of summer which is something I'm already starting to miss! Not only does it look fantastic, but this bar smells so gorgeous and just uplifts my mood straight away. This bar really does have some great citrusy smells running though it, Sicilian mandarin and tangerine oils really give it an orangey smell, which is amazing and comforting at the same time as it's not too overpowering.
I love how this bar turns my bath water into a bright orange colour, although I have to say you can't really see any water though the mass of bubbles that this bar creates! The bubbles are so soft on your skin, 'Brightside' really is the perfect bath time treat.
I know that this might be a bit of a summery product, but if your like me and always get a serious case of winter blues as we creep into the colder months, then you will absolutely love this Bubble Bar, it's amazing!
I would love to know what your thoughts are on Brightside and if it's a favourite of yours too? If not what is your favourite bath time treat from Lush? Let me know in the comments below.

Lush Sympathy For The Skin Hand & Body Lotion || Review
Most of you know by now that I love body butters and mositurisers, so I'll save you all the long introduction about how they are my favourite skincare product etc. If you had a little peek at my most recent 'Monthly Favouties' post you will have seen this bad boy on there, Lush's 'Sympathy For The Skin Hand & Body Lotion' and since receiving this little gift from Lush, it's shot straight to the top of being one of my favourite mositursers.
What makes this lotion so amazing is the feeling that it leaves my skin after using it, honestly my skin has never felt so soft. This lotion has some amazing ingredients that really work into your skin including banana which does a great job at not only nourishing your skin, but keeping the moisture locked in there too, this way your skin is going to stay softer for a lot longer. Other ingredients also include cocoa butter (one of my favourites) and almond oil.
I don't think I've ever tried any other beauty products that have included banana before, but I really think that the bananas in this body lotion are the key ingredient which make it so special. As soon as you open this pot you get such a lovely whaff of bananas, but its in no way overpowering. The smell of bananas has been dulled down a little, I know that there is also vanilla in this lotion, so it's almost a mix of the two; It smells a bit like a whipped banana smoothie... yummm! I love how this scent lingers on your skin a good few hours after application, and as the day goes on you keep getting little reminders at how good this lotion smelt when you applied it earlier.
As you can see from the pictures, Sympathy For The Skin is very thick in texture and I would definitely describe it to be more of a body butter than your everyday moisturiser; It's very heavy duty. As thick and creamy as it is though, I find that it sinks into your skin pretty quickly and doesn't leave a sticky feeling on your skin afterwards; Although some of you may find this a little bit too heavy for in the day.
I've not got a bad word to say about this lotion, it really is heavenly to use. I think it's banana smell completely wins me over, and the fact that it makes my skin so silky smooth is just amazing! If any of you spotted from the pictures this tub has 'Self Preserving' written on it, which means Lush have now taken all those nasty ingredients such as parabens out, making it great for those of you who are looking for more natural products.
I know that I've overlooked Lush in the past for their skincare products, but this body lotion has really impressed me and I know I'll be popping back into my local Lush to try out some more things and pick up another tub of 'Sympathy For The Skin' (I've now used all mine up). I would love to know what your thoughts are on this moisturiser and if you have any other faves from Lush let me know!

Lush Massage Bar 'Tender Is The Night' || Review
Lush Massage Bar 'Tender Is The Night' £6.50
When it comes to beauty products nothing screams out pamper me more than a massage bar. This beautifully scented massage bars from Lush have been out for some time, but I after feeling a bit achy after a busy and exciting day at the Northampton Blogger Meet the other weekend, I decided that I really needed to treat myself to one of these bars and deserved a cheeky little massage from my fella.
The massage bar that I picked up has been appropriately named 'Tender Is The Night' as Lush claim to be this their most romantic product ever invented. The lovely lady at Lush named Maddie was telling me how much she loved this product and how that it was originally brought out for Valentines but brought back into Lush's permanent line due to popular demand I love how Lush listens to us Lush lovers.
This massage bar has a gorgeous blend of jasmine, ylang ylang oils and vanilla which makes this product smell ever so dreamy and sensual. I love the smell of jasmine, so I knew that this bar would be perfect for me. Putting the gorgeous smell aside, this bar feels as heavenly on your skin as it smells. This massage bar has been made from shea and murumuru butters which not only lock the moisture into your skin when using this bar, but it also makes the bar melt at the touch of your finger tips, so working it into your skin is ever so easy.
I absolutely love using this, although it's not something your going to want to use first thing in the morning to moisturise as it can be a little messy. The oils and butters from the massage bar can take a little while to sink into your skin, however the mess is all worth it as your skin feels so soft and silky after you've used it and feels differently to any moisturiser that I've used.
'Tender Is The Night' is a great massage bar, and if your looking for a different type of moisturiser, one that's a little bit luxurious then I recommend that you pick up and try one of Lush's massage bars, they have quite the selection. Buying one is a great way to hint to your other half that your in need of a massage too!
I would love to know if what your thoughts are on Lush's massage bars are and if you've tried any? I've heard that these work really great in the shower too, using as an alternative for soap to shaving your legs, let me know if you've tried and tested this?

Northampton Blogger Meet Up #1
Last Sunday was the day of the Northampton Blogger Meet which had to be one of the most anticipated and exciting days of the year, well for me anyway. Nothing beats a good blogger meet up, but the fact that it was held in my little town of Northampton was just a huge bonus. I always knew that there where other bloggers in Northampton including the lovely Louise from Sprinkle of Glitter who we all know and love, but I had no idea just how many amazing bloggers there where right on my very door step. Mia over at Pretty Electric and her sister Amber who blogs at Amber's Beauty Talk organised an incredible local meetup which is a day that will go down in blogger history for sure (well certainly in my little history book).
As you can see from the picture above there was quite a few us Northamptonshire girls and it was so lovely getting to know and talk to everyone. The day started off at Revolutions bar where we were able to have a mingle and get to know one another over a cocktail or two. I can't think of a better way to relax and calm everyone's nerves than over an alcoholic beverage. Fear not though ladies it was 12 O'Clock which made it perfectly acceptable and okay to be drinking at this time. However I am the complete exception to this as I forgot my ID and despite telling the bar lady that I was 26 she would only let me order a non alcoholic cocktail - delicious it was nevertheless.
After a good mingle, we had a lovely lady called Becky from Harlequin Cosmetics that took the opportunity to showcase some amazing handmade soaps, shower gels, lip balms and incredible smelling body butters. All of her cosmetics are made in her kitchen at home which I think is incredible (how nice must her home smell?). It was inspiring to see another blogger who had taken it upon herself to start her own business and create lovely beauty bits in her own home. My pictures really don't do her products justice, but if you have the time be sure to take a little look at her website here.
After spending a fair bit of time at Revs, don't worry we didn't go too mad on the cocktails it was time for some food. Pizza Express was on the menu which excited me to no end as I had never actually been to one before. The food really didn't disappoint, it was so delicious and I had such a blast talking and getting to know the girls sat around the table.
With our bellies full and any alcohol soaked up it was time to kill some time and do a little bit of shopping around town. It wasn't long before we were due at our local Lush store, which was possibly the most favourite part of my day. I am a huge Lush fan, so I was beyond excited to go and hang out at the Lush store out of shopping hours. The guys at Lush really looked after us and I had so much fun trying, testing and smelling all the Lush goodies. I won't go into too much detail about what we got up too at Lush as I have another post planned for this, so keep your eyes pealed for that.
I honestly had the best time at the Northampton Blogger Meet, not only was it amazing to meet some local bloggers but the actual day was so well thought out and planned. Mia and Amber did such a fantastic job and I can't thank them enough for their efforts. Not only did they organise a wonderful day but they also surprised us with the most incredible goody bags; I was actually speechless when I opened mine at home and had a good look though it all WOW is all I can say.
A big WOW indeed, sorry for all the pictures but I was struggling to get everything into just the one picture. As you can see there is such an incredible selection of goodies which just makes me speechless. How amazingly well did Mia do? She must have worked her little socks off and I can't thank her and Amber enough. As the neat freak in me had to find a home for everything as soon as I got in, I now realise that I've missed out a handful of things that were also included in the goody bag including a sample of the Benefit Bad Gal Mascara which I cannot wait to try! I've already started to work my way though this lot, but if there is anything you would like to see a full review of then please let me know.
I had such a brilliant day and I would love to know what your thoughts are on blogger meet ups and if you've been to any yourself, be sure to let me know in the comments below.

Lush Goodies | Snow Fairy
It's the last weekend before Christmas and although I'm pretty much working the entire holiday (yep that's right I only get to enjoy Christmas day off) I am still feeling ever so festive and am not going to let a lot of shifts at work dampen my Christmas mood. One thing that I love about Christmas is all the gift sets and limited edition products that come out. As much as it's nice to receive these gifts it's always a nice treat to be able to treat yourself to one too - Hello Boots 3 for 2 right? One gift set that seams to work its way into my beauty stash each year is the Lush Snow Fairy gift box. My little sister always treats me to one every year for my birthday and its become a little tradition for us to swap lush goodies around this time of year as an extra little treat. The Snow Fairy gift set is a fabulous goodie box which is sure to get you in the festive mood and prep and prime you for any festive parties that you may have lined up. I thought I would get this post up for you all so you can take a sneak peek as to whats contained in this pretty pink lush box.
Lush Snow Fairy Shower Gel
Snow Fairy has to be one of those Christmas products that lush fans and beauty bloggers need to have during this time of year, as it's a limited edition Christmas product of theirs so many people seam to stock up and I can see why. I am amongst those fans who adore the Snow Fairy Range and this shower gel in particular is a favourite of mine. The Snow Fairy scent is just deliciously sweet and has that yummy candy smell to it, if it wasn't a soap then I would say it smells good enough to eat. I love showering with this stuff and the pretty pink glitter which is packed inside the shower gel makes using this a treat. Not only is it a pink product, smells like candy and is full of glitter (three things which I love) this shower gel always leaves my skin feeling silky soft and smooth and lathers up nicely, which makes it the perfect shower gel... I love it!
Angels Delight Soap
The perfect soap to go with snow Fairy is the Lush Angels Delight Soap, and I love how Lush have molded the soap into this pretty star shape for the Snow Fairy gift Box. Angels Delight soap has a pretty similar smell to snow fairy, expect to my nose it has a few more fruity scents to it along side that sweetie smell. Once again this soap is packed with finely milled glitter which gives it a sparkly look and up close you can see little snowflakes that are in the soap which makes this the perfect Christmas pamper treat. I love using this whilst I'm in the bath, not only does it make my skin feel lush but it also smells up the whole bathroom with its sweet fruity scent.
Shimmy Shimmy Glitter Bar
Out of all three products contained in this gift box, the Lush Shimmy Shimmy Glitter Bar has to be my favourite! Why? Because its packed with so much glitter that your skin looks like you are part of the Edward Cullen family. This is the perfect product for this time of year as it just makes your skin glow and the sparkle left on your skin from using this, is perfect for those festive days and party nights. Although this is packed with glitter, its not too over the top and your not going to leave your house looking like a disco ball, but there is enough glitter there which adds a nice lift to the skin and makes it look like you've made that extra effort for Christmas. I love the way that the glitter reflects in certain lights, and although I say the glitter is not too over the top, there is enough there that people will take notice and be dying to know how you've got your skin looking so sparkly. The Shimmy Shimmy Glitter Bar is one of Lush's massage bars, so its packed with cocoa and shea butter, so the bar starts to melt pretty quickly as soon as it's in your fingers. This bar not only gives your skin a sparkle glow, but it feels so nourishing and hydrating on your skin making it the perfect product to use this time of year - Goodbye dry skin! I really recommend that everyone who loves glitter to get treat yourself to this product so you can sparkle on Christmas day, trust me you wont regret it.
So that's everything contained in my Snow Fairy gift box, I think the treats are fabulous and would make the perfect little stocking filler for anyone who loves beauty products, Lush or Snow Fairy. I would love to know what your favourite products from Lush are and if your as much of a Snow Fairy fan as I am.

Think Pink | Lush Review
So a few weeks a go I put up a post with some Lush goodies that I was given from my Birthday and I was so impressed and excited with one of the bath ballistics that I just had to share it with you lovelies. I was blown away with Lush's Think Pink Bath Ballistic, it maybe a small bath bomb but it sure does pack a punch. If you love anything pink I can guarantee that you will love this as much as I do. Its the most ultimate pink feast and ever so girly.
Think Pink smells like vanilla mixed with other girly scents, Lush describes it as being like 'a great big reassuring hug' they are defiantly not wrong on this. As the bomb fizzes away you are left with a bright pink bath with hundred sand hundreds of confetti hearts floating around. I tell you this was the most exciting bath I've ever had. If you are like me and the smallest on things can make you happy or entertain you then you will stay in a Think Pink bath as long as you possibly can!
Doesn't that look amazing? I cannot wait to get my hands on another 'Think Pink' as it's defiantly placed the No.1 top spot of things to have with you bath. It retails at £2.45 have a look here to find more about it and other Lush goodies.

Lush Time
Hello beauty babes. You guessed it by the title that its time for a luscious Lush Post. I was lucky enough to have been given a few gifts from Lush as a Birthday Present. I know that this was way over a week ago now, but I just haven't had the time to blog about them till now. Like most I am a huge Lush fan and have been from the moment that they first started as a company down in Poole. There was just a small shop down a side street near where my Aunt lives and she would always take my sister and I down there for a Bath Ballistic treat. Its these ballistic treats which I have on show today and they make me super excited.
Left to Right: Twilight | Think Pink | Sex Bomb
Sex Bomb
Out of all the products I received in my Lush bag this was the only Bath Ballistic that I have tried out of the three and this one has never left me disappointed. Its so pretty in colours and the smell is divine.
'Sex Bomb Bath Ballistic: Drop in to a pre-run bath for a sensual, pink, fizzy, jasmine-scented soak'
I love the smell of jasmine it smells gorgeous and is defiantly one of those scents that is quite sensual and has romantic feels to it. Having this ballistic a lovely pink and purple colour means turning my bath water into such a pretty colour making bath time more fun than ever.
Twilight
I have always been wanting to try Twilight Bath Ballistic as I have heard and read so many good things about it. I now finally have my hands on it and out of all three this is the one I am most excited to try. I don't know if its just me but, I was always expecting the smell to remind me of Edward Cullen from Twilight as it shares the same name. Sad I know. But now that I have officially smelt this I now think that there is not much resemblance between the two other than Twilight smells so dreamy and lovely that I could smell it all day. And I suppose you could say Edward Cullen is dreamy also.
'Imerse yourself in a lavender and ovaltine scented bath of froth and fizz'
The smell just oozes lavender and this is a smell which completely relaxes me and I am looking forward to using this one as a Christmas Eve treat to help send me of to sleep.
Think Pink
Again not having tried this ballistic I have to say that this little one gets me jumping for joy as it looks and smells so pretty. It may be small but the smell defiantly packs a good punch of vanilla. And how cute are the little flowers on top. This has everything girly about it and I am looking forward to a very pink bath with this one.
'Dip yourself in a deliciously scented, bright, pink bath which explodes with confetti hearts! Drop your Ballistic into a pre-run bath for a sweetly refreshing, fizzing experience'
OMG this sounds great. Confetti hearts in the bath with pink water and lovely smells. Well to me that just sounds amazing. I love it when Lush pack little things into there products as it really does create the wow factor for me. By the sounds of it I am defiantly going to be re-purchasing this one.
Brrrr-illiant Present
Now this little gift was not for me but something that I picked up in the week as a present for someone special and I know that they will love this. But I thought that I would put it in here too as it just looks so festive. It contains two of the Christmas Products at Lush and the smells are very refreshing and zesty.
It contains Whoosh Shower Jelly and Snowglobe Soap. The soap looks as if its come straight from the North pole and will be great for those early mornings. I'm actually thinking of picking up some for myself before my local shop sells out. This retails at £7.95 and makes the perfect little present.
If you have tried any of these products I would love to know what you think, or what your favourite bath time treat it. Take care my lovelies and hope that you are all feeling fun and festive.
