I love highlighters, I can't get enough of them and I would say it's the one beauty product that I've been obsessed with buying this year. So you can only imagine my excitement when Girls With Attitude announced the launch of their new Galactic Glow highlighting palette and I was practically squealing when one arrived though the letter box a few weeks ago. If you're a regular reader, you will know that the GWA Glow It palette was my favourite highlighting trio when that was released last year (full review here) and I thought nothing would be able to compete with it. Happy December everyone! Who else is just as excited as me about it being the month of all things festive, I love it. As it's December I'm planning all of my posts around Christmas and everything to do with the season. There are so many gift guides floating around right now (I promise I will have one going up very soon) I thought I'd kick things off with my festive party makeup picks. I love going through my makeup bag around this time of year because it gives me great joy opening it and seeing lots of shimmery products, festive red lipsticks and all those other bits that are essential for the party season - Whilst I may not be attending as many parties as I used to, I'm still all about the glitz and glam. Taking Archie To See Santa at Wyevale Garden Centre

I've always loved Christmas, its easily my favourite time of year and has been since I can remember. I have wonderful memories of Christmas as a child and it gives me those warm fuzzy feelings in my tummy when I reminisce and think about all those magical moments. Christmas as an adult has always been wonderful too, but I think it's children that bring that extra magic to Christmas. Now we have Archie, Christmas has become magical again and this year will be his second Christmas. For me it means getting into the Christmas spirit early, putting on those Christmas films and I kid you not, Archie and I spent a good portion of last week dancing around to Christmas music - All we need to do now is put our tree up, which is happening sometime this week! I just want to cherish all these magical Christmas moments, which is why we plan on doing as many festive things as possible over the next month. This weekend we really got all those festive feels and took Archie to our local Wyevale Garden Centre to see Santa in his grotto.  It was so special and so magical, so I thought I'd share our day with you and it might help you decide where you want to take your little on this festive season.

Hands up if you hate doing your eyebrow! Hands up again if you always have major brow drama and filling them in is the most annoying part of your makeup routine! Let me tell you, my hands are way up high in the air. My Five Favourite Nudes for Autumn/Winter

It's been a long time since I typed up a lipstick post, which is quite shocking for me as lipstick is easily my favourite makeup product. I think its because I have a lot less time to do my makeup now I have Archie and I always reach for an easy trusty nude that I know will work with every look. I have  a few nude lipsticks that I've been reaching for non stop over the last few weeks and I think they are  perfect for the season, so I thought I would share with you all my top five favourite, because I know you guys love a nude just as much as me.

One makeup brand that I've really been enjoying over the last few months is 3INA, it's makeup brand thats only been available to the UK quite recently. In August I tried and reviewed a few of the 3INA best sellers (which you can read here) which really impressed me, so I was pretty excited when a parcel came though the door the other week with some of the new releases from this brand. Some of the bits they sent me over are beautiful and I think are perfect for the up and coming party season. I know December is still a little way off and you might be thinking lets get Halloween over and done with first, but December is my favourite time of year and I'm already getting excited about the festive season, which includes my choices of makeup. Urban Decay Trouble Maker Mascara - Super Fat, Super Long & Sex Proof!

Whenever I think of Urban Decay, my thoughts immediately go to their eyeshadow palettes, the Naked ones in particular are some of my all time favourites. I've found over the years that when it comes to makeup Urban Decay always get it right - I love everything from their eyeshadows, lipsticks and the All Nighter Foundation has become my holy grail. However I've never tried any of the Urban Decay mascaras - Shocking, right? My reason for this, is because I begrudge paying more than £10.00 for a mascara, especially when mascara is so hard to get right. So I've always resisted the urge to splurge and stick with drugstore mascaras instead. My Baby Is Now A Toddler! | Archie's 19 Month Update

As soon as I typed the title of this post, a little wave of sadness washed over me because I can't believe how quickly Archie is growing up. It only feels like yesterday that he was a little tiny baby and I can't believe where the time has gone. I know Archie has been a little teeny tot since he turned one, but in my mind he was still a little baby - But now he's reached 19 months I don't really feel like I can get away with calling him my baby anymore, although in my mind he will always be. It's been a good few months since I last done an Archie update post, the last one was when he reached 15 months, which you can find here. So much has changed in four months and I've seen been so much  progression in his development, I thought it was about time I share with you all how he's getting on.

New House of Fraser Store Opening at Rushden Lakes | Take a Look Inside!

I love shopping theres no doubt about it, but regular readers will know my struggle because my town is shocking when it comes to choices, theres only a few decent shops on the high street and nowhere to buy any high end makeup and as a beauty blogger this is a nightmare! You may have seen my post a few weeks ago about the new shopping centre Rushen Lakes opening (here) and my shopping prayers have been answered. Why? Because House of Fraser finally opened up their doors and this new store of theirs literally whisked me away to beauty heaven. Towards the end of last week I was kindly invited by the team at HoF to attend the opening of their new store, which got me so excited for a number of reasons - the main one being House of Fraser has to be my favourite department store. I've been to Rushden Lakes a few times and every time I've passed HoF I see the lighted up Mac and Urban Decay counters calling my name, so for me the countdown on the store opening was on. So on Thursday morning I took the 15 minute trip over there and had one of the best shopping experiences of my life; So amazing that I just have to share it with you all.

I know I must sound like I broken record when I say this, but one of the BEST thing about being a beauty addict and blogger is discovering new brands and today I want to share with you some of the bestsellers from new brand on the block 3INA (pronounced mina). Right now I feel like I'm onto a right winner with my skincare routine and trust me when I say this is a very rare thing for me. Usually I'm falling in and out of love with cleansers and moisturisers more often that I should and being a beauty blogger means I always want to try out new things, so its really difficult to get right. One thing thats always made me feel very lucky as a blogger is being invited to events that I would never dream of going to or would pop up in everyday normal situations. I've always like Marks & Spencer, especially their food halls, lets face it you can't beat a bit of M&S food and I'm always popping into my local one to top up my stash of Percy Pigs (they're my fave). I've always enjoyed shopping in there for Archie's baby clothes as well, as they have some adorable pieces.

It's been a long time since I talked about base makeup on my blog, usually when I find a foundation that I love I stick with it for a good while until it stops working its magic, then I look for something better. It was only by chance that I got to try out the Maybelline Fit Me foundation, thanks to my mum and since trying the foundation I've been doing the whole of my base makeup with the Maybelline Fit Me Range. I can't remember when I last used quite a few products on my face from the same brand, but I'm addicted to this range and I love the results so I thought it was about time I shared with you guys what I really think.

I used to be one of these people who used to be obsessed with moisturising. Like honestly every morning and every evening without fail, I'd slap on my favourite body butters and lotions. But since having Archie I've found that I've had a lot less time for myself and my skincare routine has pretty much become non existent. The only effort I really make is cleansing my face and taking my makeup off at the end of every night, at least I've got the most important things done, right? By the end of most evenings I'm just too tired to stand there and wait for my favourite body butter to sink into my skin. Superdrug Solait Dry Tanning Oil & Tanning Mist | My New Fave Fake Tans

My addiction to fake tan is quite a serious thing, I'm obsessed with it and I hate being pale anytime of year. I know a tan obsession may make you think that I go way over the top, but I promise you I don't go for the tangoed orange look lol. I think I get my tanning addiction from my mum and she let me use her fake tan when I was 15, since then I like my skin to look a few shades darker and I always go for a natural sun kissed glow, unless its in the height of summer then sometimes I'll go for the 'I've been abroad sunbathing for two weeks' kind of tan. I think its fair to say that I've tired and tested my fair share of fake tans and theres a couple out there that I will purchase time and time again; St Moriz I'm looking at you! However over the last few months a new tan on the market has become a new front runner and I'm obsessed with it. If you're addicted to Love Island as much as I am then you will have seen these tans advertised all the time before the show and start of the adverts, because these tans are from Superdrugs own range and they are AMAZING!

Girls With Attitude Marble and Rose Gold Makeup Brushes | Review

I think you guys know now that I think Girls With Attitude have the prettiest makeup brushes around, if you follow me on Instagram (here) you will always see me posting pictures of my GWA makeup brush collection. Well, recently my favourite brush brand released their most Instagramable makeup brushes ever, like honestly they're just goals. We all know Marble and Rose Gold are such a hit with us Instagram babes and these brushes combine the two. Just look at the pictures, you really don't need me to tell you just how beautiful these brushes are and how they just tick every box. The design is so beautiful, I love the marble handles and the Rose Gold hardware is just dreamy; Yep I'm one of those girls who loves Rose Gold Everything. Archie's 15 Month Update

It's been ages since I last updated you all on Archie, 5 months to be precise and I'm kicking myself a little bit for leaving things for so long as so much has changed in that time. I love these posts and sharing with you all the things my little bubble is getting up too, but I mainly love these posts because they're great for me to look back on and its almost like a little diary entry. I don't even know where to start as he's come on so much since his 10 month update (here).

Rewind to this time last year, I made the decision to ditch my dark brown hair and return to my natural mousey blonde hair. It had been a long time since I had seen my natural hair colour, I mean years. I had never been a fan of my natural hair colour so decided to lighten it up a bit and go for a dip dye ombre look as I thought it would be a lot easier to maintain; Roots are not so much of a big deal when you're not dying your hair all over. It wasn't long before my blonde started turning a horrible brassy shade of ginger and orange and for the best part of a year I struggled with trying to keep my blonde locks looking good.
